Her hands were thrown in the air in defeat. âYou know, you can be rather rude.â She kept ascending the stairs on light foot. Daisy turned when she reached the landing and placed her hands on her hips. âHa! Finally taller than you.â
Severus came to a stop when she did, not wanting to bump into her. He gave her a pointed look at the words. âEven two steps higher and you barely scrape past me in height. Such a shame,â he tutted at her, a smirk playing out across his features.
"I'm honestly proud of these twos steps height, thank you most assuredly." The tone of near irritation in her voice was clear still, and yet she managed to smile. "Hey, you're still the best you know. Just seems as though I haven't seen much of anyone--was beginning to feel lonely."
