Aha get it? The post title? Because The Lamb is in Narinder's hand, and the Lamb is holding what's meant to be Narinder's heart? Also, see how The Lamb is being held prisoner by Narinder's while Narinder has his own chains (because they're narrative foils AND counterparts?) And how the background is supposed to be shaped like an open rib/cage (shaped like a heart <3), because they're not truly trapped when it comes to each other, even though it really plays that way at first? That is, there's no cage. (Get it. Rib-cage? Open rib-cage? Aha)

ANyway, this drawing took me a week..ish? to finish. Mostly because I couldn't decide about some artistic choices and needed space to see the drawing with another pair of eyes. (theyre the same ones. just less tired) I still think there are some weird disparities, but I'll work on it.

Ps: Have a different version of the drawing with another highlight. I couldn't decide which one I liked more, but the first one seemed to be more intense in a way that was calling out to me.

Shamura is my favorite bishop of the old faith because we're both non binary! And I like their boss fight.

Narinder looks over to where he hears the Lamb and sees them with only a towel around their hips. They look down at their shirt as they go to grab it. Narinder softens his expression while still looking away, but his fingers slightly part as his third eye glances at the Lamb. "You were so small back then. In the gateway I barely saw you. It didn't matter then. Seeing you now, I never thought you were so... Compelling." The Lamb stares at him shocked while pointing at themselves, their face flushed as well. "Compelling?" Narinder stutters and completely covers his eyes with his hands. "Wh- Lamb! For heavens sake- get dressed!" The Lamb turns and quickly walks away. Lamb: "Right! Right! Yeah!" Image 4: Narinder is seen stabbing the head of a heretic as they grip onto his sleeve. His face looks troubled and incredibly red. The words, "Kill the thought," repeat endlessly behind him as he thinks about the Lamb's body. on the top right corner is a thought bubble, The back and front of the Lamb's torso can be seen, The back shows their soft muscles and their tail while the front has one arm raised while leaning to the side. Wanted to do a comic but not with my full render process because good god that takes hours so I was trying something new with some goatmura.

If goat did exist in an alternative universe where they took Shamura's position I imagine they wouldn't have died but been on the edge of death before they got patched up by Shammy.

Very happy to be sharing this now that the Spring season is over :)

I joined a year-long COTL-themed project and I had the pleasure of making this print for it. I had more ideas, but I only got around to doing this one. Still, I'm very happy with how it turned out. Please follow @cotl-yoa and all the artists who participated in this !!

This piece took me about 13 hours and 37 minutes, and I spent weeks working on it. This is probably the largest piece I've ever done and it challenged me a lot. Figuring out the perspective and background was really difficult for me, and colouring even more so. I'm really happy to have made something that I feel proud of though.

I've actually had this idea for a piece in my head for a very long time, but this project is what inspired me to finally make it happen
