On The Vic Mignogna Drama

I’ve been a big fan of Vic ever since I was a little kid first getting into anime, and he’s always seemed like a wholesome, caring guy who just appreciates his fans. I’m trying not to let that cloud my judgement too much, but his main accusers are making it really hard for me to take them seriously. It just seems like some SJW needed something to complain about that week, and people jumped on the bandwagon preaching “always believe the victim” when we should be questioning both parties.

More and more evidence is coming out to prove that Vic is innocent and the evidence against him is being fabricated or blown out of proportion for whatever corrupt reason. Some fans who have personally met him have stated that while he may have been overfamiliar and they didn’t give him direct permission to hug them or kiss them on the cheek, they felt more happy and honoured than violated.

People seem to forget how much power women have with false rape allegations, especially against public figures. They can ruin a man’s entire life with one statement and without solid proof while male victims of sexual assault and domestic abuse have a hard time even reaching out and being taken seriously. It’s disgusting.

And before anyone accuses me of hating women, I’m a flaming lesbian, and I’m the daughter, niece and friend of several sexual assault victims that I deeply admire and respect, so fuck off with that.

Even if Vic is guilty, this was all handled horribly. Monica and Jamie are being very shady and unprofessional about it, and I’m unstanning VAs left and right.

I can’t enjoy anything without it getting mixed up in some political agenda anymore and I fucking hate it.

my dad was DEEPLY offended when i offered to help him set up the switch, saying things like “how old do you think i am” and “i’ve been playing video games since before you were born” etc etc. i didn’t mean to offend him, it’s just that the last console he’s touched was like, the gamecube back when it first came out! things have changed since then. we have touch screen now.

anyway he’s had a bit of a chip on his shoulder since then, and so he basically destroyed Breath of the Wild and left me in he dust. he found more shrines, korok seeds, and armor than i did in like, half the time, and he got very pleased when i told him i didn’t know about certain areas or quests.

i’ll admit i underestimated him because he always seemed to struggle when playing Ocarina of Time back when we lived together when i was like, eight. in hindsight i realize he struggled because he didn’t speak english very well and couldn’t understand most of the on-screen explanations. once he set the language to korean he was blazing through botw so fast he was fighting lynels before i’d even gotten to the point where i felt comfortable with lizalfos.

anyway i’m sick of him rubbing it in so for christmas i’m getting him dark souls. see how much you like challenges then, pops
