sometimes, it seemed like the older generation had forgotten that the women who served and waited on them on these events were human. which was evident in the way one of the older men at the table had barked at one of the passing women as she had spilled one of the jugs onto the table. which lead to huisoo to calmly divert the older’s man attention, speaking of various plans and money issues to distract him. the woman had snuck away when he caught minjun’s eye, and smiling a bit sheepishly at being caught. “ it was the right thing to do.”

perhaps it was the alcohol - yes he had a bit too much at the wedding. but huisoo was a bit too affected by the drinks, seungwan being elsewhere and thus his impulse control leaving with his wife. huisoo merely snickered into his cup - finding the younger’s words a bit amusing. “ i’m not drunk enough to admit anything like that, try again after two more cups, alright ?”

they were about to leave for the wedding. the servants had finished ascending upon his wife and the chaos around the state had died down. it wasn’t often that huisoo was home for these events, but for one that was so important ( and general im was indeed a fellow soldier who had helped him in dire times ), he couldn’t stay away. so it was a rare sight to see his wife so dolled up, a smile appearing on his lips as he watched his wife draw attention to herself. dressed as every noblewoman should look, huisoo approached his wife with a tender glance - letting his fingers brush against her cheek. “ you look perfect for the occasion, now let’s go, we can’t be seen arriving late.”

- eldest son of the minister of defence - a grand general - married to the daughter of state council official woo - excels in archery but is weak when it comes to hand to hand combat - just wants to make his family proud - is very pressured by his family to have a child with his wife  - Has Iron-deficiency anemia - causing him to become succumbed to  fatigue easily and if worsen to have fainting spells. ( it is not well known due to his father keeping the handicap in secret )
