on a sadder note, after a pretty long while he opens up to you about his relationship with his dad and what his life was like back home
this is really big for dally because he’s not big on dwelling in the past and he’s not exactly an open book when it comes to his feelings
the only person (besides johnny n maybe darry too) he’s really ever talked to about his dad is Sylvia
and we all know how that relationship ended
so him trusting you like that is a big step in y’all’s relationship
when johnny got beat up that was the first time he had ever cried in front of you
he wasn’t sobbing or nothin huge but he shed a few angry tears
this was after he finished his rage fit that was taken out on anything he could find in his room
he was so mad at himself for not being there to protect johnny

he probably won’t apologize immediately like dar but after a while he swallows his pride and will come to your door to say sorry even tho he’s not the best at it (or wait for you to apologize)
his pda level is a bit confusing
on one hand he’s not going to be super clingy and all over you (he’s not like that in general tho anyways) when other greasers are around and may even ignore u sometimes infront of them to show off and keep up his to cool for school act

he always has an arm around your shoulder tho or on your back
(sometimes when he has his arm around your shoulder he will pull you closer to him and give you a quick but rough kiss to the side of you head)
but around the gang he doesn’t care as much and will kiss and touch you all he wants cause those r his brother n he’ll just tease em right back if they say anything
he is really proud of you so don’t get that twisted
