Fro-yo Fridays
There was always the expressionĀ ātime flies when youāre having funā. Or, as Stana was experiencing, time flew even when you werenāt. Busy with work and travel and attempts at a social life, any time she had wanted to spend with Chris had fallen by the wayside. But, true to their form, they always found a way back to each other. It was hard to be away from him, and hard to be away from Jack. She knew it was partly her fault for letting it slip, but she honestly hadn't thought it had been that long. Then she got a messages and it felt like time started to finally move again. Like her life was back on track.Ā
Standing outside the frozen yogurt shop, Stana shifts her weight from foot to foot uneasily. This awkward anticipation never seems to wane, no matter how many times they drift apart and are pulled back together. Being with Chris is magnetic, sheās discovering. It is impossible to stay away. Not that she wants to.
Stana is on the verge of pulling her phone from her pocket when she spies a familiar face approaching. Against her will, her face breaking into a grin, and she feels her heart stutter against her ribs, as it always does.Ā āMy favorite Chris,ā she greets, feeling happier just to be in his presence. Her arm are outstretched, her heart is full, and the day is just beginning.Ā
