Shara Bey of the Rebellion. Hero of the Battle of Endor. Friend to Princess Leia Organa and Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker.  Mother. 

Her clear, strong laugh. Confident and warm— like everything his mother did. Poe knew, even then, Shara Bey was a hero, she was a hero to him. A light he was always drawn to, a source he drew strength from. And she was gone. 

She should still be around. Should still be at home when he’d storm in late, waiting with a hot cup of Tarine tea in her work-worn hands, a comforting smile on her face. “Do we need to talk, Poe?” she’d ask in those imaginary moments, in those scenes that still felt all too real. Hurt all too much.

Rey avoided Poe for week or two after their first meeting. She blushed and ran away from him.

Love is… the perfect storm. The most serious reason for a quarrel is unwillingness to listen to your partner. 

Lol, Poe and Rey quarrel in TROS was because they both didn’t listen to each other. They really only fight over trifles. They both care about each other a lot, don’t blame each other in anything (exept some trifles) and admit when one of them was right in argue (but prefer not to tell about that)

Her husband, the title brought an impish smile to her face, looked over at her, before gaving her a simple peck on the cheek and heading further into the ship. She followed after him, wanting to get on their way. She watched as he set the coordinates, his surprise present for her, a honeymoon in the Lake District; she would finally be able to visit Naboo. She settled in beside him in the cockpit, watching as he deftly went about preparing the ship for take off. She had seen many do this before; her father, her uncle, but they had never inspired such a feeling in her. His large hands moved over the controls with ease, a look of concentration on his face. She felt warm all of the sudden, shaking her head. It was simply Leia’s words from last night, her and Rose’s blushes and stammers as the older woman explained what they would experience as married women. What possible manoeuvres their husbands might attempt. What was possible with a man’s hand alone.
