Forgive me, maybe I’m missing something... but why do they draw her like that? Snezhnaya is essentially based on Russia and other Slavic countries; a huge number of people there are Slavic. We have light-colored eyes, hair, and skin. It’s a bit disheartening, as it looks like an insult to Slavic people.. To me, it seems a bit illogical—please understand. I live in Russia myself, and I very rarely see people of other races

I really like the character redesigns for Natlan or Sumeru. After all, it makes sense for characters from those regions to have a darker skin tone

To me, things like this look like racism... because turning a canonically white character into a person of color is deeply offensive. Especially when people say it's the "right" thing to do

But I don't want to offend anyone; it's just that this drawing struck me as strange 😟
