   BUSINESS ASIDE, Dante had proved to be pleasant company as they worked alongside one another. Showing himself to be so much more than his initial appearance first conveyed– She was well aware that he was a competent warrior– a demon hunter with the best of intentions. For the sake of the world itself, for whatever it was that would attempt to trounce humanity itself– there was him ready to offer his aid. Even when payment would be offered– he wasn’t in it for that alone, no– even though it would have been wise if he had taken a bit of that into consideration (Based on the man’s living conditions)… it was still endearing, nonetheless. COMMENDABLE, in fact.

   THE WOMAN WOULD SMILE THEN, gaze lighting up at the unexpected sight– a ROSE BETWEEN HIS TEETH. Admittedly (And entertainingly) charming in its presentation, the British woman would kindly accept the offer. Arms unfolding before reaching forward to gently pluck it out from his mouth… It has been years, truth be told. Despite well maintained YOUTHFULNESS– she hadn’t allowed herself to indulge– Wouldn’t forgive herself, for that matter. 

   Not after having lost HIM to them, that fateful night.              Not when she had lost it all, only to start anew, all by herself.

   “… Aren’t you the charmer?” She would say with a small hum then, before calling out to Suzie Q to have the lovely rose placed into a vase, “… Thank you, Dante.”

hey, just popping in real quick.

Sorry I’ve been pretty quiet.

I hate making excuses but I guess I should get this out there anyway. To make a long story short, motivation is hard to find as of late. I put most of the blame on my health. I don’t wanna go into detail about that, but, yea. Somethin’ I’ve been really dealing with a very long time and it’s effecting me more than I ever thought it would now. Other thing is... just not feeling confident about anything I do here. Kinda why I keep abandoning my other blogs lmao but I’m really trying here I swear.

anyway, if anyone wants to chat, feel free to ask for my discord. I’m not even around there much but I’d still love to talk to you guys.

I’ll still be here to roleplay too, of course,  just... I’m gonna be slow. Maybe even slower than molasses going uphill in January. (Heh, I’m always slow, but y’know what I’m saying.) I just feel I should reassure y’all that I haven’t forgotten about our threads, haven’t forgotten about Dante, and etc. As always, I do appreciate your patience.

       Perhaps calling this something as serious as a kidnapping was a bit of an exaggeration, something that Nero was pretty much FAMOUS for. On the other hand though, calling it a simple invitation was far from the truth as well. What, whining and yowling until the younger gave up now counted as a suggestion? HIGHLY UNLIKELY. For now, he would stick with his own choice and meaning of words. 

       Gaze of icy blue and impossible gold rolls in its sockets at the comment, allowing a snort of disbelief and disapproval to accompany the action of his eyes.  ‘  Next you’ll be telling me you did all of this because you CARE and WORRY about me.  ’ Is that the beginning of a smirk threatening to settle on the edges of the young halfling’s mouth? Perhaps, but it’s mostly because of the sheer thought of Dante worrying about him that caused this short-lived change of mood in Nero. How cute. 

       A hand that once acted as a resting area for Nero’s cheek now moves to push the sugary treat placed in front of him slightly to the side. He’s still somewhat bitter he had been TORN out of his house during one of his extremely rare off-days ( but he knows his addiction to sugar will overtake him sooner or later. For now, he’s gonna play it stubborn and annoyed. ). ‘  You can’t exactly drag me around every time you just so happen to LEARN I have a day off, you know.  ’

A soft chuckle and shake of his head would be his only response to such painful sarcasm. True cares and worries aside, was it a crime for him to show even a sliver of concern for anyone, let alone someone he had an odd sort of history with? So stubborn, so harsh.

“And why not? Gettin` outside every so often, it`s good for you.” Staying inside all the time, cooped up in your own home; what a waste! As much as the older wanted to further chastise him, he instead distracted his mouth with another bite of strawberry. He has yet to finish off his own sundae, though he was soon coming close to the end. And the one left practically untouched by Nero was tempting him. Seconds? Dante’s not opposed. “By the way...”

Spoon meeting the bottom of glass, his full attention now currently stayed with the task of getting every remaining spoonful of ice cream he possibly could into his mouth. This was a man of frugality, further proven alongside his next hunger-driven comment.

A joke, or she was simply a fast woman. 

Her intentions, though unclear at this point, weren’t going to be questioned. When her body met his, Dante only expressed interest with a quirk of his brow. He wouldn’t fight this – whatever this was to be. More so, he’d welcome her advancements, albeit sudden and quite unexpected, with little hesitation. A game he knew how to play well, and somewhat unsurprisingly not ever ending how he would wish, could his luck possibly change tonight?

It was worth finding out.

“Well?” Hands then meeting her hips, Dante looked to her almost expectantly. She, after all, was the one to prompt their current situation. Nonetheless, a smirk began to grace his lips.

“You got some fun planned for me?”
