Do we think what happened to Rose does have something to do with Logan? Maybe he was egging her on to do something or they were doing something together and then she died so he blames himself? What if it is something very similar to Kendall’s accident?

Okay so it’s clear to me that Connor was never taken seriously as a “Roy” as the heir apparent because of his mother. We know very little about her. Roman said in the Dundee episode that Connor’s mom was in the “booby hatch” (so institutionalized by force we can guess) and Alan Ruck has confirmed in interviews that Connor’s mother had issues with drugs and alcohol and was put into hospitals because of that. So it’s very clear to me that the separation between Logan, the firm and Connor isn’t even actually Connor’s fault. We see Logan gaslight Connor about it during the shareholder meeting as well.

The scene in Nobody Is Ever Missing when Kendall is walking through the reception is such a GAUNTLET. He is trying to process what happened and what he did. We can also assume that he’s got to be sober by this point because he was slightly intoxicated and high before the crash but with the walk and getting dressed again, he’s walking into that party completely sober and having to deal with everything at once. He is desperate to apologize to his siblings because he is so fragile in this moment. Roman doesn’t want anything to do with him, Shiv would have probably been the meanest to him (with good reason because of the bear hug) but she’s on the dance floor and Connor gives him the warmest response which is really just indifference to his apology because Connor has no doubt had a million empty apologies in his life. Kendall is dealing with so much emotionally and then we see him hug and dance with his children which is one of the better scenes we have of him interacting with them where he is actually engaging but Kendall can’t feel any of it. He can’t feel the fun and happiness of dancing with his children because he’s so incredibly out of it, trying to process the fact that he’s a murderer.

Roman’s downfall in the finale truly starts from his overwhelming trust in his father, that he would never sell him out. He leaves that meeting with Lukas not realizing how in danger he is and there could have been potential for the siblings to have more time to form a plan or maybe even get more board members on their side but Roman’s trust in Logan was the nail in their coffin.

What Lukas says about how the masters didn’t want slaves to wear the same thing to identify themselves as such, is exact how Logan uses his children against each other and has pit them against one another for their entire lives because if they knew the power they had together, he wouldn’t stand a chance against them.

We really are gonna have a death in season four. Of course all the imagery makes sense for it to be Kendall but GOD DO I WANT IT TO BE LOGAN.

ok but there is a difference between being the eldest sibling in a “parents put me in charge while they are away” “being the middle ground between the parents and the younger siblings” way and being the eldest sibling in a “actually the parent” way, and what struck me about kendall’s comments about being the eldest son who was promised something and connor’s reaction to it was that it really illustrated this distinction. kendall is the eldest of his mother’s children and fits the first type of eldest mold. when he calls himself the eldest, it comes off as a slight, an overlooking of connor’s position, which in part it very well may be, but it is also a statement of fact. shiv says “you know what he means” bc to them kendall is the eldest, where as connor is an eldest of the second kind, and thus not truly considered to be one of the “children.” connor cannot be the eldest son if he was the wetnurse father. the murky situation of his birth dovetails with the role he played as pseudo parent to further ostracize him from the three other kids.

I do think that, even though this literally makes me wanna vomit and I wanna kill you both every day and it’s all gonna end horribly, I do think that we… Puke! …could make a pretty good team. My one big complaint about the finale is I wish we would have gotten a bit more of Kendall.

That’s not to say that the confession scene doesn’t make sense as in how his siblings reacted. Roman immediately starts trying to make jokes, that’s exactly what we all know he would do and making it seem like it’s not actually Kendall’s fault. They are all SOOO far removed from empathy, showing emotions and vulnerable. Shiv not knowing what to say and just trying to be there physically but it’s interrupted by the family business which is the absolute center, the heart of this family. And Kendall doesn’t want to be consumed by his father anymore. It’s a beautiful scene. I just would have liked maybe one more Kendall centered scene, maybe with Rava or his kids.

It really sucks how SIDELINED Marcia was in this season. She better be back to KICKING ASS next season. And we need MORE STEWY.

I’m so glad that Connor finally got to speak up on behalf of himself to his siblings because you just KNOW he’s been sidelined in so many ways and they don’t understand how much he’s actually been there for them throughout their lives, even more so than Logan in a lot of ways. Such a great scene for Alan Ruck.

We all knew from jump that the only way Gerri would betray Logan is if there was a GUARANTEE that she would still win in the end so there’s literally no reason to be mad at Gerri for making the right choice for her.
