My Oireachtas results definitely weren’t what I hoped for–getting placed worse than last year when I’m pretty sure I danced better sucked and recalling seems even more unrealistic than it did before. But I survived my first year of working full time while dancing, on top of driving four (!?!?) hours to class (each way). I’m definitely a little bit crazy even if my TCs are too polite to say so. I’m just going to keep working and trying to remember that I do belong on that stage, even though it took me longer to get there. Roll on 2017!

Just got home from an amazing Oireachtas! 5th place in Senior Ladies. Still boggles my mind that the top three in my age group are 10 years younger than me… yet somehow I managed to pull out a podium placing one month shy of my 31st birthday.
