these two beyond the ship, have a deep connection to one another. their bond even though it’s at its earliest, still has much time to blossom. so much to understand about each other. importantly, so much moon does not know about carme.
the moment it’s carme’s time to vulnerable with moon, i’d like to think of how it would be handled. 🗣️
carme presents himself as a put together almost picture perfect moon, enough to be seen as disparate from his variants.
moon, as we know, is not the most intelligent on an emotional level. he’s a constant work in progress with determination to change, but he’s still very flawed and especially naive.
he might fully believe carme to be that exact vision he tries to display. mostly because carme does not give any opportunity to believe otherwise.
so, however it plays out, might moon be genuinely suprised if not slightly doubtful learning of carme’s sorrows? moon possibly puts carme on a pedestal unknowingly. he refers to carme as an “interesting individual” and pushes his interest for his character because of his subconscious drawn to carme.
understanding his counterpart, at least to me, would bring not only huge growth for carme’s character but as well as moon’s.
moon begins to realize that not everything is as black and white as he makes it out to be. everything carme has taught him or encouraged him to concider could come back to him all once.
anger for the consideration that someone could even treat carme so badly, the only moon he considers to be pleasent. someone he might be quick to defend without knowing the full story and knowing a side of carme that can be just as hurtful as his oppressors.
guilt for the way he preaches “all moons are the same.” his negative perceptions of himself bleed into other moons and of course, carme. he believes carme to be different or even above other moons without considering that carme at his core is still a moon. even if carme does not believe the notion, self loathing is continuous between them all. fears developed of if moon would view him to be just as bad as everyone else if moon knew what he’s done.
emphasizing that in this moment, what matters is carme and his pain. they are not so different as they might think. if anything they are exactly what the other needs. someone who has been at that low point and has grown from it. someone who moves for change and willing to try to live, to try and love.
assuring carme that nothing would change between them, because how could he ever hate him?
carme has done so much for moon, i’m sure moon would want to return to favor.

It's from MONTHS ago now, when i was yapping about tsams and Eclipse's "retirement" to my friends and somehow came upon the idea of "hey you should draw him with a dad bod and in classic dad attire for shits and gigs because he's a retired father of 4" and it spiralled into "Imagine a stupid oneshot where noone in the cast has seen him for years post-retirement and he gets invited back for a little reunion and rocks up looking like that and everyone is GAGGED"
So then i scribbled out a stupid comic about it in a couple hours, with my multishipping bullshit and some projected simping sprinkled on top.

Interracting w this fandom still scares me a little because im a relatively new-ish tsams fan (around 2.5 years now i think??) and also am not an avid watcher of the actual show, i just read ABSURD amounts of fanfic (500+ bookmarks now 🥀) and stalk the tumblr tag lmao
Im in a weird place where im OBSESSED with tsams (i made a 200+ slide unfinished powerpoint about it to present to my friends, and never shut up about or stop drawing these damn characters) but like, i constantly worry that i still dont know enough about it, and tsams lore is SO difficult to learn and keep on top of without watching a LOT of hours of content 💔
But im trying to get more confident about it because i think about this show so much that if i continue to not share all my bullshit i will explode lmao XD
When a Star survives the death of its dimension, it has a chance to turn into a so called Star Parasite. These entities aren't sentient, but operate by attaching themselves to the desperation of other people, fueling their host with false promises of power and a chance to change things, and while they indeed do grant some amount of magical capabilities, they always consume their host eventually.
The parasites lack a physical body, opting to haunt their hosts with hallucinations and dreams in which they take on the shape of whatever their host is the most desperate about. Their shapes can differ, and while the same parasite can look like a perfect replica of whatever is most effective to manipulate their host, it can simultaneously look monstrous to someone else perceiving it. The same parasite usually follows a theme in its appearance, even when it has switched hosts.
The V2 Bloodmoon that was made by Ruin as a distraction. They are able to split, the two halves calling themselves Harvest and Blood respectively, though they prefer to stay together. Ruin managed to replicate their shapeshifting and nanites, though not as flawlessly as before, so whenever they do change shape, it isn't a perfect replica of the other person. They can survive on oil and cannibalized animatronic parts as well as regular foods for a while, but eventually need to get their fill on proper blood to keep functioning. Their nanites also aren't infinite, so they try to avoid injuring themselves too much, but love a good fight regardless, which is pretty counterproductive. They are surprisingly okay with Lunar, and while they claim to hate kids, Nova is an exception to that rule.

About the AU: After a confrontation in the Arcade, Eclipse and Ruin decide to work together while the latter continues the spiel of pretending to be cured to the others. Canon adjacent for some events, but starts to diverge down the line.
