the flashback made me tear up a bit because when you think about how dunk had to grave rob as a child to sustain and earn a coin with no family, and how when he agrees to let egg squire for him, who he thought was a poor orphan, dunk promises him food and shelter - something he didn't receive as a child himself. People saying aerion only "bullied" egg need to pay attention to the words. He says aerion USED TO come into his bedchamber at night. He doesn't say "he once came into my bedchambers" or " came to my bedchambers one night". Used to implies multiple times. Threatening a child (even once is insane but) repeatedly about castrating him and turning him into a girl and his WIFE. He was threatening an even younger egg than now that he would mutilate and then assault him.
