500 days of summer is not a romantic movie

Like seriously why is everyone recommending a romantic movie and then they proceed to say 500 days of summer?, this is what I call a self discovering movie that happens to follow a relationship that is not quite a relationship.

Side not, the fact that there's people that dislike summer, like? Wut? Summer is without a doubt the best character in the movie, lest not forget she was the one responsable for Tom architecture epiphany.
