When Jonathan Safran said “Sometimes I can hear my bones straining under the weight of all the lives I’m not living.” and when Doc Luben said “How do we forgive ourselves for all of the things we did not become?"
Reading is political and it always has been. Here are some of the classic books on the banned list that you should definitely check out.

Reading the beautifully-written, Tale of a Neorealism Movie: Italian Neorealism, was a wonderful experience. I learned a great deal about what Neorealism means and the significance it holds for Italy's working class. Although consisting of only thirty pages, I felt all the emotions I would have experienced reading a novel. Lisa deeply resonated with me; she was an extraordinary woman who at a young age was able to shoulder a lot of responsibility. She must have felt resentment at some point, but her willpower and resilient nature saw her through, which was remarkable. Also, I found her excitement at helping Luca despite her circumstances quite endearing. I loved Luca’s positive attitude and charismatic manner, it was refreshing and really drove the plot. I enjoyed Tale of A Neorealism Movie: Italian Neorealism and recommend it to those intrigued by Neorealism and the importance of preserving the movement. It is a truly fascinating subject.

What I liked about Perfect Office Pact by Maria Jane was its light and playful feel. The hilarious banter between Cade and Mira was quite fun and entertaining and piqued my interest as to how the story would play out, especially since I assumed they would end up together. I really liked seeing how Declan’s personality and background became more clear as the story unfolded. It was truly a rollercoaster ride in that regard! However, the plot was somewhat predictable and I also I feel the concept was a little childish. Another thing that came off as clumsy was the mistaken reference to Rose, Mira's sister on page 103.
It's a nice book, just a tad bit unrealistic.
