Hunxi blog - they majored in ancient Chinese literature and took the time to share their knowledge with the fandom. Have post about the title of the drama , translated the OST, cultural meta, linguistic meta ... I honestly recommend to start in the fandom reading all their blog and then sending them a box of chocolates.

ruanbaijie blog - First of all, see her blog in desktop, is wow, her gifs are just like that: wow. I would like to highlight her photobook/artbook translation and then admire her existance. Just wow!!!

bond over twitter - Deserves a journalism award! they are always so quickly sharing any news in the fandom and have done so many precious translations (and colabs) if you buy merch, you will hear 1rst from them

@bigbadredpanda has translated some mxtx interviews and has a long masterlist of notes and explanations and I want to worship them

genuinely I'm so sick of people wanting all fiction to be ethical. can we all just get a little gross with it. the point of fiction is that it's not real. we can be unethical in fiction; same goes with being perverted with fiction, being unrealistic with fiction, and being grotesque with fiction. not all fiction has to be ethical, not every character has to be ethical, and that's okay. can we stop with the puritanism. be gross. be unrealistic. be whatever. if I don't like it it's not my business as long as we're all clear that its fictional.

important addition i forgot that not everyone might know. similar to how ao3 bookmarks work, you can also link to non-ao3 fanworks using this format. so, for instance, if theres some fanart on tumblr that inspired you to write the fic? you can link that fanart to your fic!
