Sigil 01 Night Crawler
This is a piece I made that combines original elements and collage from 16th and 17th century prints scrounged from public museum archives.
Featuring pieces from etchings by Albrecht Dürer (1507) after a design by Leonardo da Vinci, Archetypa Studiaque by Jacob Hoefnagel (1592), Daniel de Lafeuille (1600), Perspectiva Corporum Regularium by Jost Amman after designs by Wenzel Jamnitzer (1568), and other sources.

Another oldie! My brother and I came up with this comic and I drew it while staying on my uncles pig farm in Iowa the summer between junior high and high school.

This was fun. I should have stopped after I inked just the lines... maybe... I don't know. I do like the shading I guess but the pic is not really done because I got bored before finishing the shading in the water. Maybe I'll do it some day.
Half the fun of drawing weird shit is thinking about the details of the scene. Like how the weird spherical trees are up to 10 stories tall. Also the geothermal cycle of the planetoid is such that water is pumped-up through pools which then fall back into the core via waterfalls. Maybe the buildings there are working to harness the natural energy? We may never know.
