i'm kind of mind blown that we actually found a house this quickly and sale went through without a hitch. that realtor of ours might actually be a miracle worker. while i'm not a huge fan of this whole moving and unpacking thing, finally being under the same roof makes it worth it. also realized this makes us common law partners and i should really add you as my next of kin on all of my medical forms. we really are adults now, love it. how're you feeling about the move? if you're sick of unloading boxes, i'm sure i can rope dawson and mclean into doing it for us. / @danielaavnzini

you're only 4 inches off, i'm actually 5'8" give or take. i'm the shortest guy on my team full of freakishly tall giants who are mostly 6'0"+, so i think that gives me the short king pass.

That's not too bad, 'cause travelling has a way of completely obliterating any sense of time, so I'll allow it. I've been good! Mostly just leaning fully into the whole "pretend real life doesn't exist for a few days" thing, which I highly recommend. I ended up thinking this is exactly how people end up extending trips indefinitely. I'll see you at the goodbye concert! I feel like it would actually be criminal if we let the trip end without properly hanging out. Even if it's just drinks here.

Obviously, we have faith in our own abilities, but this indsutry is tough and it can be really hard to book roles even if people do know your name. Thanks again. I feel really lucky right now. You girls deserve it. All that work you've put in since Dream Academy, it's no joke. You're going to kill it and I'll try and make it out to a show or two. I might be the oldest person in the audience, but I really want to cheer you on.

the key to a good day is staying busy.. i say, before immediately returning to my spot on the couch like i haven't spent the last three days there watching mtv cribs. it's a legit comparison, though. next up for me is pretending to be productive until i get my muse back. what about you?

Only once?! Damn, I've been to Canada so many times, for work and leisure, I couldn't count. Such a great and vast country. Mostly Toronto, but I know a few guys who live a little outside it, so making the effort to see them whilst up here. So many hockey players are from Canada. I can imagine! Our schedules during the season is fucked, can't do shit outside of the games until the season ends. So I can relate.

and i was being generous, unless that part wasn't clear. it usually does whenever we hang out, considering all we do is sleep, eat, talk, and repeat. he's a real one. so apparently it's been decided that we have to do a series of festivals during the summer. i mean, it's not like i'm complaining or anything, but i was really looking forward to a european tour. yeah, i saw you at the ama's. congratulations, by the way and you looked perfect as usual. how was it? i mean, as long as you were looking at my face, then sure.

nothing wrong with having a competitive streak. i've been doing so much that it's crazy! we did a performance at the AMAs, filmed for celebrity substitute teacher, dropped a little documentary type video for our coachella performance, and now we're just doing some rehearsing and enjoying time in LA. what about you??

Not weird at all, I'm flattered. I hope all my photo dumps don't annoy you. Italy was incredible, as always. I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of it. The food, the wine, the pace of life. And then I headed to France straight after, which also wasn’t exactly difficult to enjoy. Do you have a favourite vacation destination? Somewhere you keep wanting to go back to no matter how many new places you visit?

oh no, they don’t annoy me at all. i actually look forward to them. i love getting a glimpse of you living your best life. from italy to paris to the napa trip, huh? that’s exciting. where are you headed off to now that the trip is over? that’s an easy answer: paris. i’ve only been able to visit a couple of times but i love it. so pretty and the food is delicious.

canada is such a fun place. i’ve only ever been once but i’m dying to go back. what area of ontario are you visiting? i had to go right back to los angeles for rehearsals for the AMAs. swear the workload never stops over here.

this weekend ended up being the perfect downtime. not that i exactly planned it but sometimes things just end up working out. thank you! maybe one day. honestly, no idea but i'd be open for anything so long as it was something i know i'd watch myself, you know? i could absolutely see you taking that world by storm. you could do ads for top brands and everything. even if you did try out the runway, i think you'd shine there. whatever it is, i really hope it ends up happening for you.
