My Imperfect Life

I grew up to be the person that I am today. I'm not perfect but I laugh at the silly things people say. I have a sense of humor and try to not let the small things get to me. It's what’s in between my life, my friends & family that matters. I love the fact that I can be myself. I don't live to impress my surroundings. I live to do what makes me feel good. I sing out my lungs just by listening to all the music. I listen to it. It makes me dance around in my room. I wait for the season of spring just to watch the beautiful flowers bloom.
I play with the strings of my guitar too listen for a perfect tune. I don't know any songs too play well but I make up my own.
It’s pretty swell. I use my imagination when it comes to drawing stick figures. I may be one of the few with an imaginary friend, but that's okay. It’s my imperfect life. Sure.(:

It blows me away every time I walk into a nice home and meet its proud, overweight, out-of-shape owner. They just don’t get it. Your real home is not your apartment or your house or your city or even your country, but your body. People tell me that I can't 'cause of the color of my skin.
They don't believe in us.
We are Latin,

we stick together,
and prove the world,
we are equal and can do anything.

and our style is to never quit.

"I Had a Terrible Day at Work"
Often times when friends and family members begin to tells us that they had a terrible day at work, we feel compelled to give them some advice or feel the need to somehow make things better for them. But, that isn't necessarily what they're looking for when they share their frustrations with us. It's likely, that all they really want is to talk about it and appreciate that you're there for them so they can share some of their frustrations.
So, before you begin to worry about what you must say or do to make things better for them, consider simply listening and showing some empathy. Empathy might be all they're looking for.
--When people share their frustrations, they don't necessarily expect us to provide them with the solutions.
