Jungkook POV (Soulmate AU)

It’s been several hours. I should be sleeping because I have.. SO MUCH TO DO TOMORROW. But I find it calming to be drawing at times like these. We’ve been so busy, and sometimes trying to hurry and sleep for 4 or 5 hours takes a toll on mental health believe it or not. I put my pencil down and peered at my drawing. Another sketch of her. I don’t.. know who she is. But her face is vividly stamped into my head. The way her eyes crinkle at the edges, the shape of her smile, even the line her jaw makes. It’s all up here brightly painted in my mind.

I’ve never met this girl, I’ve never seen her before a few weeks ago. And even then it wasn’t real life. I just woke up, started to sketch and.. There she was. A few hours later, perfectly outlined in my sketchpad. Maybe.. It is all in my head, maybe my imagination is just strong. But.. She seems like she could be so real. Either way, I’m heading to bed before I lose all my sleep time.

I just woke up and I can see her speaking in my dreams. There’s no noise, but she staring at me intently with those eyes of hers.. It’s all interrupted as my ceiling comes into view and I wake up in my all too familiar room. I pushed myself up and got ready for my busy day ahead.

We all stopped to get coffee at a small cafe, and I started to draw again, trying to capture that moment from my dream onto paper. I barely glanced up and my heart dropped. I looked down at my paper, then back up. She was there. Across the cafe! I could see her! I didn’t realize I was staring until her eyes met mine. I was so in shock, but I could see her smile. That knowing smile. I looked at her table. Pencil in hand.. A sketchpad on the table..

Sooo I am writing a fantasy fanfic where in an alternate universe, a god who refers to himself as The Game Keeper drags people to his realm through their dreams and plays bets with them. If they survive 12-24 hours, they get to keep their soul and live in their own world, if they fail and die in his games..He can either kill them or keep their soul and use them for his bidding in other dimensions. He is a bit crazed/deranged but I am so pumped to write this.

I jolted awake with a troubling sweat covering my body. I saw that face again. It’s theirs I’m sure of it. I don’t.. Know how to go about it with them. I can’t be the only one dreaming of the others face.. Right? Are we both just.. Shy? I’ve been putting it off for so long.. They’ve noticed the purple bags under my eyes.. And unless I’m just imagining it to make myself feel better.. I see the same purple, tired tint under their eyes too. Again, I’m not sure why neither of us has spoken up.. Dear Diary,    August 22, 2018

        Foreign countries, foreign cities.. I’m not sure how long it’s been we’ve been touring in all honesty. I’m sure if I check back on our schedule, I’d know. But I don’t right now. All I know is I’ve been tired, but I work hard for the members, for the fans.. Everyone. Today was a usual day for us. We had interviews, a performance, we met up with someone we’ll probably collaborate with in the future. We took pictures for twitter, ignored the fact we have instagram, and drove all around an unfamiliar place getting lost in our own culture shock and intrigue. I always appreciated the way the world looked. Black and white, and gray in between. But it all changed today. I was walking into our concert venue.. And everything changed to color. Colors I never knew existed until now. It all changed when I saw that face, staring back at me. I may never speak to them again, but.. I know I found my soulmate. I know they found me too.

SoulMate AU: The Instant Spoiler (ChanyeolxReader)

It was a sunny day. The sunlight cascaded in prisms through the glass of the wide windows of your apartment. The whole room was lit up, and everything was peaceful. You reached for the small glass figurines you collected from a young age, holding it in such a way, that the sunlight reflected rainbows out of it. You smiled and set it back down.  You’d been cleaning all day, but found yourself getting distracted. You were humming to yourself for hours. Actually ever since you woke up. You got up from the floor, peering over at the clock and smiled. Knowing that the love of your life would return home at any given second.

Walking to the kitchen, you decided to make food. Hoping he wasn’t in the middle of another diet as you made whatever you could throw together in about 20 minutes. Once dinner was complete you set the table and walked over to the door just in time to watch it slowly open.  Your face lit up, your pupils dialated slightly, seeing him. He smiled and reached for you, pulling you in for a tight hug.

He immediately asked if you had waited too long to which you just shook your head and squeezed him happily. Telling him how you had made dinner. His smile got wider and he followed you into the kitchen.  He told you all about his day, and offered to watch some dramas or tv with you to make up for his absence that day. Which of course you’d agree.

You both cleaned up after you had ate. You washed the dishes, and he dried them and put them away.. Since he could easily reach everything, honestly. You were wiping off the excess water from the smooth marble counter, when he suddenly picked you up and carried you to the living room. Claiming he’d clean the rest later. He just wanted to lay down with you on the couch for awhile. 

He was choosing a movie and spun around when you suddenly started to hum and even sing a little. He tilted his head curiously, his dark orbs staring straight into your eyes before he spoke up asking where you’d heard that song. You opened your mouth to confidently answer.. But nothing came to mind.  You admitted you were unsure where such a peaceful melody had come from. But you loved it none the less.

“That’s the song I wrote for you..” he said in a soft deep voice. You stared at him confused. You were sure he’d never written a song for you, something like that you definitely would not forget. 

“I wrote it today.” You were so unconvinced.. Until he proved it to you. Showing you the project he had made on his laptop. He even had all the lyrics written scratchily on his notepad.  You just looked up at him and smiled. Suddenly remembering.. This happened every time his group was working on a new song. You just never mentioned it before.. You’d always get these.. Songs stuck in your head. And it seemed whenever he had a comeback.. It was the song you could hear on repeat in your mind.
