New #workinprogress at the studio this fine #boxingday. In this age of a digitally distorted realities, I have begun exploring the liminal duality of technological dependence. Technological developments have brought about massive changes in the general publics access to information, as well as providing a platform for self-expression ranging from the inanely macabre to #kpop. So too within this realm, is the ability to vicariously imbibe a plethora of supposed actualities, with humanities innate surrogacy further supporting the apparent verisimilitude. Both the cause and effect of altered states of perception, are portrayed through the juxtaposition of reality, with the more analytically expressive, making the viewer question which state is truly more revealing of our psyche.
