Just remembered I had these too. Have some AU Kikis to go along with the Amimis :)
Considering I did also write some info for them on this image, gonna go ramble on these AUs big time under the cut (nothing too spoiler heavy hopefully, it’ll be the base concepts and how I came up with them).
[Hey coming back here after writing just the first AU to warn you that this WILL be a long post, I forgot how much of a yapper I was again.]
Blueberry Peach Pie
Can’t really lie, I do generally enjoy possession as a concept. The idea of a character being overrun by a power they cannot control and/or fully overrides who they are as a person is fun to work with.
Having said that, I wasn’t the biggest fan of the possession theory being used to “justify” the way Kieran was acting in the Indigo Disk, because going “that wasn’t him, he would never do that, he was being controlled :(“ to what was a very in-character crash out was lame and also undid a lot of his character arc. I was ultimately happy that wasn’t the direction Pokémon went in either because they do have a record of undermining awful behavior because the person was controlled in some way cough cough Lusamine cough cough.
Back in the “trying to figure out Momotaro’s deal” days though it was very fun to imagine how this mysterious Pokémon could use its binding powers on people. Especially knowing it could control multiple Pokémon and give each unique effects. How could that play into people’s insecurities? People plural for sure because I knew I wanted to go beyond Kieran, I much preferred the idea of other people getting affected instead of just him. Then the epilogue came out and everyone started to do the chicken dance. Suffice to say that vaporized my mood in an instant.
So I went back to how I would consider writing a possession/mind-control scenario, while also holding onto the info we got on Pecharunt through the dex entries and its unique short. Figured out that a) Pecharunt’s main goal is getting people to love them, b) they use mochi to achieve that specifically, but they can make people worse for it and c) Pecharunt is horribly unaware of how its powers affect people.
The premise of this AU is: Through blood, sweat, tears and possibly burning a few bridges, Kieran has finally achieved the champion role he always dreamed of. Except it becomes clear very quickly that it didn’t fix much of anything and he still feels like absolute shit. Unable to express what he’s feeling (ie severe burnout) and furious that he doesn’t know how to fix it, he digs even deeper into his bad habits and lets his frustrations out on people. All of those around him, from the league to his sister, are at a loss. They’re horrified that he might hit a point of no return, but also don’t know how to approach him, since he’s done nothing but push any help from them away.
And then one night he does go too far, passing out from exhaustion completely alone in the Terarium (possibly the canyon biome). As he opens his eyes, he finds himself in a weird void, in front of a Pokémon he doesn’t recognize. Kieran guesses he must have hit his head, but with nothing to do, he humors the vision anyways. The Pokémon introduces themselves as Pecharunt and tells him that they want to help. They too have felt so lonely for so long and only wish to find someone who will love and respect them. Kieran looks like the kind of guy who needs to find his footing again so that he can be the league champion his school needs, and they’d love to help with that. Kieran has no real idea what he is talking to, but he assumes that if this dream was created by this Pokémon, then it must be strong. So he accepts what he thinks is a challenge to win its approval, only to find himself with his mind and body fully shut off moments later.
This is going for too long aaa anyways Amarys finds Kiki, everyone panics cause they think something bad happened. Surprise, he wakes up and is suddenly horribly sorry for how he’s treated the people around him. He swears to work on himself from this point on so that he can be a better leader without making things worse for everyone. And to his credit, he does become a lot more sure of himself, very welcoming and willing to help new recruits. Only he’s been pulling out these weird pink mochis left and right, which people seem to reaaaally like. Yeah double surprise, this is actually Pecharunt using Kieran’s body and position of power to win over the school. This happy-go-lucky guy is not him, Pecharunt has made sure to lock him in the depths of, idk somewhere subconscious, where the kid is on stand-by, unaware of what's going on and incapable of getting in Pecha's way.
Unfortunately, Kieran had such rancid vibes days before this that no-one really questions this positive shift in behavior. When you see your friend finally recovering, you wouldn't immediatelly assume it's because of a leech inside his body.
This AU is quite fun cause I get to write the BB League turning sour due to Pecharunt's no good horrible sweets and just how generally messed up their relationships with Kikirunt are, yay :)
This is a lot already so I’m gonna stop here, I’ll just leave an older reference I made for this guy too.
Gonna need to update this design for sure. Mentally putting them in a blender before we move on to the next AU.
When the Mask Drops
Think this is the only AU that changes the Teal Mask at all, guess it goes to show that the og has solid enough writing to me, idk.
This is also heavily based on theories I had for the plot before the dlc released. Main idea was connecting the battle of the two sides of a story to the sibling's rivalry. Basically I thought they'd go full force on Carmine sticking to her traditions (by helping the L3) vs. Kieran fighting at Ogerpon's side.
At this point in time I thought Ogerpon would be more combative and vengeful, therefore willing to send Kieran to fight the Loyal 3, the same way the trio would do with Carmine. Leading to the siblings unknowningly battling each other.
Ofc by the time the dlc actually came out, that turned out to not be the case, as this reading was waaaaay off Ogerpon's actual character.
I did like this original idea though, so I pulled it out to work on it again.
To be fully honest though, I don't have much to add. Just need to know that Carmine is helping the L3, convinced the ogre has returned to attack the village once again and that they'll need to be ready for it; Kieran starts pretending to be the ogre, without Ogerpon actually knowing or approving of this (the kid just thinks that by defeating the L3 and defending her honor, she will most likely join him); Yukito is deeply reconsidering not telling everyone the truth; Ogerpon just wanted to check out the festival man....; the protagonist is stuck between the worst sibling conflict to experience on vacation, someone please get them out of there.
Here’s a first draft OgerKiki. Ooooo he’s so spooky, be very afraid…..
This works better when he's in the shadows, but I mean he does have a spiked bat, somewhere. Teens love their bats with nails on em.
Do wanna rework the kimono at some point, don't really like the pattern.
Mirrored AU
Unfortunately got very little to say here, for the reasons stated above.
Ok to be honest I did have themes and dynamics for these characters, but I don't feel like dwelling on an AU I'm not actively working on.
Also rereading my Kieran notes, I probably made him waaay too mean and bratty tbh.
The concept was to swap these pairs: Carmine-Kieran, Crispin-Amarys and Drayton-Lacey. Beyond that point I started blanking and didn't know in which direction to take the story.
I do still have the original sketches of the entire BB League, though I wasn't the happiest with their designs even back then.
Cowgirl Lacey lives forever in my heart though :)
Tera-pocalypse
To be honest a lot of my AUs are just an excuse to rewrite parts of the story I was a bit miffed on, or just to experiment with those elements. One of my favorite bits to rework is the final stretch of the Indigo Disk. Have had a bunch of different ideas just for how I could envision the Terapagos battle going, and this is one of them.
It's funny cause this AU was born from a high tension scene that I may or may not keep anymore, when the whole premise of this story is that it's a slowburn. Though I'm not the best when it comes to writing that genre, I love when things happen too much.
The top image already explains most of the premise, but I'll go more in-depth cause we're here anyways:
Protagonist (I'm gonna say it's Juliana in this story), Carmine, Kieran and Briar successfully grab Terapagos, thanks to Kiki. Except Briar manages to reign in her excitement and decides they'll wait until Kieran has properly trained the turtle before showing it off.
So they return to the surface, to which Briar immediately informs the Paldea League of their discovery. This also gets Cyrano's interest, who comes along with the BB League too.
Since Kieran and Briar have to take time to train this new legendary, all of the other kids (the BB League, the Crater Crew and even Team Star) begin to get to know each other and show off the region to the newcommers. Kieran barely ever interacts with them, too busy with overworking Terapagos.
One day, Kieran announces that he's ready to show off Terapagos' full power and demands Juli to battle him in the league building. Both leagues (Carmine included), both directors, the crater crew and Briar pull up for this grandiose moment. Except the boy fails tremendously and loses control of the turtle, which begins to release a ton of energy.
Most people there manage to seek shelter in Mezagosa and they're lucky to build a barrier in time using various Pokémon moves, but no-one knows if the rest of the region made it.
From this point forward, the crew is stuck there. Paldea is being overrun with terastalized Pokémon and Terapagos' energy waves block any form of communication, on top of having built some force field around the region to stop anyone coming from outside.
Clavell, working alone as Geeta nor Cyrano nor even Briar made it, resigns to waiting until Terapagos is done absorbing energy and returns to its slumber, only letting people out to do rounds in Paldea to look for resources and people. Little do they know that the situation outside might be more dire than what they thought at first.
Hydrogen baby turtle :)
But yeah the base of this story is that it takes place over a number of months, where not much happens for the most part. Things do happen, and I like to think about the things that happen, but I need to get better at brainstorming the slower moments too. It's one of the AUs I think a lot about, together with Mochi Vessels. Me when the blorbos are in peril :))))
Oh yeah as to why the BBs are wearing the Uva uniforms, it's because Clavell hopes to build a sense of community in these trying times by formally enrolling the Blueberry students. This comes with mixed results (aka Drayton refuses to abide by the dress code even during a lock down scenario).
Unfortunately have no cool drawings to show for it. I mean I have this doodle that's supposed to be taking place in the big scene that started it all. Without context it looks so funny tho, they're so sad and soggy :(
Man, ok. I think that's all I should share. If you've read all the way down here, damn, very thankful you could take a bit of your time to read the ramblings of a girl who could probably afford to do more productive things with all this energy lol. Serious though, sending virtual high fives your way :)
Unfortunately no goops to be found here, but I will return with them once I've updated a few things ^^
I was feeling very Amarys-pilled recently so I sketched a silly thing, til I suddenly felt very self-conscious at the idea of sharing AUs and stuff so soon :(
But also after the tirade I went on today, might as well. Go my soldiers.

Still waiting a bit before posting all my most recent art, but shoutout to this little thing I waited two years to digitize. Embrace the pon :)
Suppose that counts for improvement, though to be honest, the main thing that changed is that I got a drawing tablet so I started experimenting with my art more lol (and the new artwork isn’t the size of my pinky).
Have a bit of a backlog to work through, so I'm gonna start by posting some old Hidden Treasure of Area Zero doodles, specifically the legendaries because they're the critters of all time and I love them so much :)
I know this is a deeply American thing to say but I am begging everyone to stay the fuck away from military recruiters. Especially high school kids. You are going to be seeing an unholy amount of them in schools or around schools or literally anywhere kids are known to congregate. THIS INCLUDES ALL FORMS OF ROTC. Stay the fuck away from military recruiters. As someone who’s familiar with entirely too many branches through entirely too many friends and family, including my partner, recruiters are authorized to say literally any fucking thing they think will make you sign on that line. They cannot and will not deliver on those promises. They need bodies for the war they’re pretending is only now starting up again. That’s all you are. A body. Stay the FUCK away from the military.
Aaaandddd my second colored work for @green-with-envy-phandom-event, this time by @tourettesdog! I had so much fun doing all the little buried details in this one, thank you so much for such a delightful lineart! <3
