Time Is Away - A Very Cellular Song
I stumbled across this excellent audio collage last week, lovingly put together but the Time Is Away duo. Based around The Incredible String Band’s still-incredible epic, “A Very Cellular Song,” it incorporates all kinds of fun and fascinating bits that relate to the tune, including “amoebas, early music and the mid-century Edinburgh literary avant-garde.” A little bit of Scientology in there, too, naturally. A wonderful listen, and a reminder of the endless joy ISB delivers, 50 years after they came together.
Bonus! Here’s the addition my beautiful daughter made to the cover of The Hangman’s Beautiful Daughter.
