2017 was not in its 100% awesomeness for me. In September, four days before my birthday, I was hospitalized and was then diagnosed with mitral valve prolapse with mild regurgitation. I have a flappy and leaky valve. Literal na problemang puso. Thank God I found out about it na mild state pa lang and I'm doing my best to keep it anywhere near moderate or severe. 🙏 It's not dangerous, but I'm always reminded to take things easy. I have to take that "chill ka lang" line to heart. Bawal sobrang stress at pagod at kung anik anik pa. The hard part is that in my case, it's symptomatic. That's the reason why I left my job. Had to close that chapter of my life to begin a new one. And I'm grateful that the last quarter of the year has been really good. I turned a dream into reality. I brought @besoskincareph to life and I'm enjoying every part of it. 💚 Whatever happened this year, I am thankful -- for the gift of life, family, love, and friendship, and for more chances -- to take care of myself better, to create opportunities, to become a more compassionate being. 2018 will be waaay better and I'm keeping my faith because God is, and will always be, in control. Happy New Year, everyone! Live to love and love to live. ❤
