i understand the sentiment i really do like i'm a woman who exists in modern society right. whenever i see a hot masc women i understand it is very possible that she is trans/nonbinary. but this line of thinking – "i won't talk to her because she might be" – is harmful to gnc women. i'm speaking from experience. it hurts me personally whenever strangers assume i'm anything but a woman. it hurts me personally when my family members make snide comments about the "gender identity" i don't have. and it hurts me to know that there are women in the world who are automatically suspicious of me because i'm gnc (on both sides of the gender debate!). you are further alienating gnc women by not wanting to engage with someone who might be a tif. it hurts to develop feelings for someone and then discover her political beliefs are incompatible with yours but i guarantee it hurts even more when nobody wants to talk to you at all because of what they assume you might be.

but then you don't know what happened to the world outside while you were gone, because now everyone else is gone. in fact, the mall is crumbling, and nature has retaken spencer's and claire's and abercrombie and fitch, and when you walk outside, you see that there is no human life whatsoever, just creatures that should not be around anymore, but are. and these ones are not made of plastic.
