Ah the nostalgia. If Windows 98 was a boss, it would glitch out and start falling apart and freezing reality around you and malfunctioning. That thing was seriously unstable. XP was the first decent operating system Microsoft made.

Depends on what I'm drawing. If it's something like this...

...then it was done on my Note 10 or Galaxy S23 with my S Pen in ibisPaint.

My pixel art, on the other hand, is drawn using mouse and keyboard in Paint.NET.

A good amount of my pixel art gets turned into Perlers as well.

All in all it helps to be flexible. I never get bored doing what I do and I do it as much as I like.

Hey lookie, another perler!

This one's of Xerxes, and I got a little creative with the color I used for his armor lights. As it turns out, glow in the dark blue Perler beads glow a very heavenly cyan under blacklight. I knew I had to use this to my advantage, and so I did! And I ended up with something pretty great.

This perler actually belongs to a set of 4, where I set up a scene of Mega Man, Bass and Xerxes' facing off against the Evil Energy Robot from Mega Man 8.

here's a bunch of OMORI perlers I made a while back. These little guys stressed color accuracy more than anything else and I'm pretty happy with how they turned out (besides the sleeves of Basil's shirt, what was I thinking using that color for them???).

OC #3: Xenon Trooper Xerxes

Today I'd like to make mention that exactly eight years ago, I "created" the first Techno Man sprite. This Mega Man recolor had his own share of redesigns, up until I drafted the first original Techno Man sprite, leading up to the current design of Xenon Trooper Xerxes.

I appreciate that if it wasn't for him, I wouldn't have taken it this far and improved as much as I have.

Just look at the progression of his design, from 2015 to 2022:

But I still hate everything about him. He's reminiscent of past years where I was careless, egocentric and unwilling to improve. Nowadays, I like to think I'm not as terrible of a person. In a way, I guess you could say Xerxes helped me grow just as he grew with me.

To Techno Man: You're a piece of crap, you suck, happy eighth birthday you literal piece of trash.
