the thing about dan and phil fans is we represent both the decidedly worst aspect of rpf and the absolute best case end scenario. dan and phil suffered more than any other "target" of rpf because not only are they one of the most shipped pairings of all time, they're also online celebrities and thus saw most of the shit their fans were posting. but at the same time they're also the only truly big rpf ship that ended up being actually real

decided i'm not doing enough dan and phil shit with my life already (lol) so i set up a dnp tumblr community cause i think it can become a cool feature and i want to partake in beta testing it

right now you can't request to join a community i have to like manually invite everyone (kms) and the member limit is 500 (though if we hit that we can request to have the limit upped) but i might set up a google form or something for people to submit their username if they want to join, i feel like that might be the easiest way of making sure i don't miss anyone

communities also need like mods and shit, and i think you can have more than one admin? i'm not sure yet i'm still looking into all this. but i think it can be a good solution to the eternal tumblr problem of 'oh my god getting to know people on here is a nightmare'. i see a lot of people on other platforms who want to join the tumblr phandom but they just don't know how to get into the community cause as much as i adore this website it's just not well built for that as of now. we'll see how it goes! i think it'll be fun :3
