Drawing had always been Baileyâs way of basically calming herself down after either a nightmare that she had about her ex or even just thinking about him often set her off. So, during this time she found herself drawing and she did really like drawing too, it definitely did the trick of keeping her distracted. She was sitting on the park table when she heard a cracking sound of the sticks on the ground, causing her to jump seeing as it startled her. Nearly making her drop her sketch pad that she was holding. âWhy must you do that? You nearly gave me a heart attack!âÂ
"You got a really bad conscience." Dante chuckled as the blonde jump upon noticing his presence. "Hey, I didn't do anything. I wasn't sneaking up on you or anything. You seemed a little too caught up in that sketch book of yours to even notice me walking up to you." The boy smirked, sitting down next to her.
"Oh right, sure." Dante shook his head, coming back from reality as he had been so caught up in the comic book he had just gotten. Putting it down, he grabbed the ice pack and handed it to the girl.
lining up the perfect shot was hard for adriana at the best of times, but today it was being particularly difficult with the sunlight shinning in her eyes and people walking past her lens. âi know this is a sidewalk, but i swear to god if one more person walks in front of me, iâm going to hit them.â (and with a trained undercover agent with emotional issues it was always a possibility.)
"maybe you should find another spot that isn't so crowded. i don't think people are actually going to move." dante stood next to the girl, noticing that no one was really paying attention to the fact that she was trying to take a picture.
Vanessa waited for her son to get in the car before pulling out of the driveway. âAlright well if you need more Iâll be at the office. Just leave a note if you come in and take some this time please?â She trusted her son to take only as much money as he needed, she and his father had taught both their children the importance of not being greedy and only taking what is needed. âText me when youâre on your way home. I donât have surgery today so I should be home in time to make dinner.â
"Okay, I'll keep that in mind. Thanks, mom." Dante smiled softly, appreciating his mom's gesture. But he just always feels bad taking money from them when it's not just his allowance or birthday. He knew they weren't shy of money but he also didn't want to depend on it. "Really? You're going to be home again for dinner? That's great. I'll definitely text you. Would be fun to get the whole family together again for dinner. It's been a while. And you know, dad's cooking isn't as good as yours."
She smiled at her son, nodding toward the house to get him to hurry. Sheâd been distant from her husband for quite a while though once the drug business had fallen into their laps things had gotten far worse. Nessa would never let her children see though, sheâd make things work for their sake. âThank you. Bike in back if youâre bringing it with.â She made her way to her husbandâs SUV, getting in and starting it. âDo you need money to buy new comics?â
"Alright." Grabbing his bike, he put it in the trunk, since he did have to get home at some point and if she was heading to work or something, he wouldn't have a ride back. Slamming the door shut, he went to the passenger's seat and got in. "I was just going to use some of the money that i've saved..." Dante mumbled softly, appreciating her offer but he always felt guilty if he said yes.
âI have a flat tire and your fatherâŠâ She sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose. âWill you please go get your fatherâs keys from the house? I will drop you and your bike off wherever you were headed.â
It had been obvious to Dante that their parents weren't as close anymore as they used to be but it didn't bother him that much. He just assumed that every couple goes through such a phase. "Yeah, dad isn't really a handyman." The young boy chuckled. "Sure." Dropping his bike on the ground, he ran back into the house, grabbing his dad's keys from the key rack before rushing out again. "You can just drop me off in town. I was only heading to the comic book store."
hey guys, itâs shay again with a new character. my little innocent boy. be warned, itâs a sad one, sort of.
TW DEPRESSION ( FROY GUTIERREZ , MALE , SEVENTEEN ) have you seen DANTE ALVAREZ around town ?? we call HIM the OLD SOUL around here , and they are a HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT . it makes sense , you know HE can be CLEVER and FRIENDLY but pretty INSECURE and NAIVE . word around town is HE SUFFERS FROM DEPRESSION AND ANXIETY BECAUSE HE GETS BULLIED AT SCHOOL. but are you really really all that surprised ??
alright, this is my new baby, Dante. iâll list a few points so you can get to know him a little better.Â
first of all, heâs an alvarez but he isnât that phased with his familyâs background. he just tends to ignore it.Â
SECRET: he suffers from depression and anxiety as he gets bullied at school so heâs pretty quiet and insecure whenever heâs surrounded by tons of people. in school it mostly happens in less crowded places so no one has really noticed anything. and dante also just puts on a smile all the time, not letting anyone see what itâs doing to him (there is one person that knows but thatâs been plotted out). Â he hides it from his family as he doesnât want to worry them or bother them with his problems.Â
personality wise, heâs a total sweetheart. he used to be very outgoing and talkative and social but ever since the bullying began, he turned more to himself and more quiet and definitely more insecure but towards his friends and family he puts on a mask and pretends everything is alright. they might not even see much of a change but at some point itâll be inevitable
heâs very innocent but at some point he will be corrupted and his personality might change a little (just a headâs up).
this is only a small intro but it are the big lines and iâll probably add to it once i get things going for him. iâm open to any plots and connections because he could use some friends for sure so hit me up! or like this xD!Â
Coming out of her house she didnât think anything else could go wrong. Sheâd spilled coffee on her blouse, couldnât find her hospital ID and to top it off her husband had drank the last of the coffee, leaving her in a sour mood. Descending the steps she hoped the day would get better but that hope faded when she noticed her flat tire. âWell thatâs just great.â
As he exited the house, Dante grabbed his bike off of the front lawn and headed down the street. Hearing his mother murmur something, he frowned. "What's wrong?"
she honestly looked like she was about to pass out. hiding in an oversized jumper that was more like a sauna than a piece of clothing at this point, andie had pushed through her discomfort. up until now, that was. heavy breaths and a head that was slowly getting more red betrayed her, her cool demeanour now completely lost. âcould youâ could you get me a glass of water, please ??â
"yeah of course." dante quickly got a glass a water, making sure he didn't spill anything on the way back. "are you alright? you don't look so good. maybe you need to sit down." he had this worried look on his face as he handed her the glass.
