When I watched the news, I heard about the Human library. Though originally from Denmark, it has already been used in Korea since 2009. Human library is the method by which people are learning about each other. Usually a person who is the object of prejudice or a social minority. Like a person with a disability, LGBT, homeless, immigrant worker, fat person, a female firefighter. But everybody can be a living book. Because we are all special. Anyway I think it's really awesome. Learning about another person's life. I know how important it is to meet a good person. It always stimulates me. Sometimes they expand my thinking and even feed my soul. Because of that, I want to meeting a good person. But the most important thing is being a good person to my surroundings instead of meeting New good person. Well, maybe that's the reason why I haven't always improved. Shame~

Yesterday, I talked with my friend from India.
At first, our main topic was food. (Food is always the best talking point!) I heard that there are so many delicious foods in India. Like indian curry, naan, tandoori chicken. I asked him what his favorite food among indian food is. He said “My mom’s food is always my favorite.” It was quite a sweet answer.
And then I thought about something. I know Indian people don’t eat beef because of their religion. So I asked him about this.
He said that Hindus don’t eat some kinds of meats, and he’s also Hindu. But he can eat anything he wants. (Laugh)
I don’t believe in any religion, so all of the religious things are really interesting to me. Especially Hinduism, which has a lot of God! It’s amazing to me. I asked which God is his favorite and his answer was very surprising.
He said that now he no longer follows a religion. I wondered about the reason for this. Even if I am irreligious, I know that there is some spiritual power in the world. I think maybe that’s because of the existence of a god.
But he doesn’t agree with me. He said that whenever he went to a temple or a church he prayed, but it doesn’t mean that he believes in a god. It is because praying in itself has been helpful. He keeps saying, “If you keep your faith, it’ll bring you success. It’s not belong to a god. It’s your passion which brings you success.”
I didn’t hate his vision. His vision is, in a way, quite cool.
Keep my faith, and follow it. Only my strong passion make it right. :)
Everything's supporting me. Just one thing what I need is my conviction.
Today's Lesson : I AM A STUPID PERSON!!!! So do not worry about making mistakes. Just doing what I want, and getting more experience. Thanks, I met the WISER Nickie! And I decided to do more stupid things!💃
속이 다 시원하다. (이걸 뭐라고 표현해야 할끼?)
Today I received a special gift.
It was made by an old man who is one of my customers. Whenever New Year's Day comes, he always gives me this present.
It's actually a small amulet. Like a protecting from bad things, to keep the body healthy and also to bring good energy to life. The first time he gave me this, I was really surprised and I felt just weird. I thought: 'Why did he give me the amulet???' I do not strongly believe this kind of folk beliefs. Also, I've never had any amulet in my whole life. So it is just really strange and super odd!
The old man is a Buddhist art painter, usually paints Dharma. Many people believe Dharma's painting keep off misfortune and protect them. When anybody see his painting, they can feel some strong aura, even if they believe in any religion or not and believe in superstition or not. I knew his works, and I thought his work has some powerful energy. So this powerful amulet is more and more strange to me.
At that time, he explained why he gave me this. It just means thanks for the humanity relations between he and me. He thought, every meeting between people is tied and connected, so meeting someone is always important and precious for each others. And then he said to me "Thank you for our ties." I was touched by what he said. I really appreciated it.
Because one person, maybe just in a slight part of his whole life, thought that our humanity ties are precious and then prays for my peace and happiness, is really an amazing and a wonderful thing.
Still, I don't believe in any superstition. But I already feel this amulet effect.
That's not because of the amulet itself, it's because of his warmly thanks for our humanity connections. When people's heart cherishes people's ties and pray for others it shows gratitude in itself. :)

These days I'm totally falling in love.
When I first saw him. He was a doctor, and he has a girlfriend who got a bad cancer. So he always tried to say a funny joke to his girlfriend, but in fact it was a totally chilly lame joke. But I really liked his attempt. It was really sweet things. And he was so cute to me.
After then I was looking for what he did until now.
The second time when I saw him, he was a chef. He wanted to open his own Italian restaurant in NewYork. At that time he and his fiance went on a trip to Verona. Verona is a totally beautiful city. He was totally crazy about nice ingredients for his Italian restaurant, he looks so happy. But his fiance was different. She's a writer. She wanted to spend enough time with him like a newly married couple. But she couldn't talk to him, that makes her feel empty. Eventually she was falling in love with another guy at Berona, so he remained alone.
Third time, he was a brutal baddy. Totally violent bad man. The song that he was sung was totally crazy. That situation is really serious, but I couldn't help laughing about his crazy song.
And next time, he was a puberty boy. He was a very vigorous youth. He and his best friends were obsessive about women. (Concretely sex) They wanted to go to the beach to gouge with us women. And they did. That story was very honest and well imagined about adolescent boy's sexual desire and Mexico's candid natural situations both. I especially like this story's ending. It was very clear. So everyone can easily find the meaning of this story.
I'll be watching another thing that he did. The one I'm looking forward to the most is 'He was Che Guevara' And in the newest story, he was a reporter who got arrested by Iran and he was taken into custody for 118 days.
In fact, all the things 'that he did' is 'what he played'. He is a fabulous actor. His acting is very gripping. And he has a critical mind and a sense of responsibility of society. I like this. His acting choice is always with those confidences.
Though I can see him through his films. That's enough. But someday I think I have to go to Mexico to see him for real. (What a crazy girl I am!)

Happy Valentine's Day with my lovely friends! 😘

My friend said to me :
"You’ve got everything. Youth, passion for your life, desire to get what you really want. But why do you hesitate to do it? You have to get rid of what you don’t like. It’s the most important for your happiness, don’t do what you hate. And just follow your happiness"
I couldn’t answer that……
At that time, another friend of mine said this to me :
"You hesitate because you’ve got everything. You are worried that you’ve lost what you had."
Yesterday I went to Boriam. Boriam is a traditional Korean buddhism temple which is located at Mt.Geum in Namhae. This is my favorite place in this small town.
This temple is located at the top of the mountain. This temple is located at the top of the mountain. But you can also take a bus. When you reach the entrance there, you can buy bus tickets for a bus that brings you from the entrance to the top of the Boriam. It takes about 15minutes to ride a bus. Each person has to pay 2,000원 for the bus tickets in a round trip. The bus takes you almost to the top of the mountain, and then, you have to walk for a while to reach there. That takes about 10 minutes.
When you have reached there, you can see the landscapes of Namhae. It's really nice. While you are watching it, you can feel like you are being a mountain god. Seriously lol.
I don't have any religion, but I like going to temples or churches sometimes. It makes me feel refreshed and gives me a relief from the worries and anxiety in my mind. However, these days religious places have become a very commercial place also. I really hate it. They demand money in the name of donation, and then build weird structures with no meaning. It all seems inharmonious. Sometimes it's really disgusting.
I hope all of the traditional religious places keep their original pure meaning for a long time. I really really hope so. And then many people can get peace in their mind. That is the original basic value of religion.
It looks like an ink-and-wash painting.
