“Woah! Hello there,” Caleb chuckled after taking a few steps back from the impact of the dog jumping onto him excitedly. “Yeah I’m fine,” he assured the blonde, scratching the canine happily. “I think she took a detour from the squirrel with me– I probably smell like dog to her since I’ve got one at home,” Caleb elaborated with another laugh. “She’s very sweet though. I’m sure she would’ve taught that squirrel quite the lesson.”
“She’s not exactly small, so one jump when you’re not expecting it could be enough to ball you over and I really don’t want a lawsuit on my hands because of my dog.” She commented, smiling at the pairs interaction, feeling relief that there wasn’t going to be any altercations when it came to the other and her pet. “What kind do you have? And do they shed as much as she does? Because I’ve thought about selling her cast offs, they’d probably be able to make several coats without having to call all Cruella on her.” Daphne chuckled, “She’s never actually caught up to one yet, I’m kind of intrigued as to what she’ll do when she finally does one day.”
