Elephant taming in Laos. A ritual or a torture? As an outsider, I only saw torture. But as I spent some time with the mahouts, I have come to understand their way and reasons. However, I couldn't still see through the pain I felt for the baby elephant. This was definitely the heaviest and heartbreaking subject I had to cover.
