A blog where I submit and reblog all stuff related to my Souzou Academy -characters Darian, Shuuji and Anna. Darian is my main character and used the most, Anna acts as secondary character and Shuuji is the trap you may accidentally trigger. I use him when I'm feeling evil

Lasairio - A fire mage Ael accidentally met in the forest. Ael happened to have a bad day so instead of leaving the mage alone, he wanted to test his powers and beat the man almost dead. The mage reminds Ael of an angel he once fought against and he has not very dear memories concerning him, hence the aggressive approach towards the fire mage too. While he doesn't like Lasairio, Ael congratulates him for being such an outstanding opponent despite being wounded and clearly not a combat mage.
[out of RP]
Parents - Deceased. Both of them met the end of their lives in a war between demons and angels. Ael was close to them but was already a full grown adult when they passed away. He was in good terms with both although his mother used to embarrass him all the time.
Madeleine - A demon woman from another world. Ael met her by accident but soon they fell in love with each other. Despite having some difficulties to stay in one place at first, she soon got used to the world of Taros and settled down with Ael. However, when the angels started to strike again and demons had to stand up for themselves, the woman had to leave temporarily because she was pregnant. While she was gone Ael was sealed under a church and they never met again. Ael loves his wife still and wishes to reunite with her once again.
Shou - The son Ael never met. He still thinks about his child dearly even though he knows nothing about him.
Lasairio - Allan's school mate when they both were still studying magic. While Allan doesn't consider Lasairio a friend of his and instead he is more of an acquaintance/ally, Allan has learned to tolerate his presence and attitude better than one would expect. In mage school, Allan figured Lasairio was the best talking partner he could find if he wanted to talk about deep things. While they have not been in contact for years, it's not like Allan has forgotten the fire mage.
Allan - The boy the rebellion wants to crown as their new king. While Rowan has not met Allan personally, Rowan thinks he and Daniel resemble each other a lot. Because of this, Rowan is curious to know more about him. However, the knight thinks Allan, in pictures, seems to have somewhat of a cold aura around him which was different from Daniel.
Anna - A childhood friend of both Rowan and Daniel's. Rowan used to have a small crush on Anna but he gave up as soon as he learned Anna had no feelings for neither of the boys. They are in very friendly terms with each other and they exchange letters despite the fact Anna is still being captured by dragons - captured probably being a wrong word since she is voluntarily there. Anna could literally go back at any time if she wanted.
Daniel - The lat crown prince of Nietas who died for an illness a few years ago. Daniel and Rowan were always together ever since they were children and there was an intense and deep bond between them. Even though Rowan had always admired and appreciated Daniel and his presence, only now he has truly noticed how deep his love for the prince was - and that it was that of a romantic kind.
Lasairio - A mage working in the same group as Rowan. They are not very familiar with each other but they have patrolled together and even gotten into a fight against a chimera which gave Rowan a few scars on his hand. Rowan is interested in the possible information Lasairio could provide him concerning Allan but he doesn't want to push him. The knight trusts Lasairio and considers him a friend of some sort, although not very close.
Hiroki was feeling dizzy. He was sitting on a floor, leaning against the wall while watching the surroundings around him. He was able to spot a table, Darian and some blankets on the floor. Ah, Darian. He could explain Hiroki what was going on.
"Darian... where is this? What happened?" Hiroki mumbled and immediately after that was about to fall over. However, Darian managed to catch him in time and gently supported him back up. "Ah, try avoid moving. You're still weak because you were drugged," the blond then explained and gave Hiroki a gentle smile. Drugged? What on earth had happened? ... had Darian saved him? Hiroki was happy and impressed at the same time: he didn't expect Darian to be that heroic! What a great kouhai he had!
"Did you... save me?" Hiroki then asked, wanting to make sure he could indeed praise his brave kouhai. "Yes," Darian replied with a nod and leaned closer to his senpai, petting is head. "You don't need to be afraid anymore. No one will find us here." Aah, so they were hiding right now? Hiroki was even happier now that he was with Darian, he trusted the boy's words of them being safe now.
"Thank you... Darian. But what? Are we... Are we being chased?" he asked, sounding like he was drunk because of his dizzy feeling. "No. Not yet. But I'm sure someone will come to search for you at some point. But don't worry, I won't let that happen. I'll make sure you don't need to return back to your terrible life." Darian caressed Hiroki's cheek as if he tried to comfort him.
Or wait... Hiroki started to feel like Darian's caring behavior was not out of being worried for his senpai's safety after being... kidnapped or something. No, it was like Darian was... in love? And what was that talk about not returning back?
Oh dear...
Darian leaned his head against Hiroki's and his lips touched the other boy's skin. It gave Hiroki chills, but not the good kind. Darian was scary, to put it bluntly. "I need to go for now... But don't worry, I'll return. I'm sure you saw the blankets already. I don't have anything to eat today but I'll bring you tomorrow. And the day after that. And the day after that.
You don't need to be afraid, I'll take care of you"
The grey haired girl pinned against the wall looked straight into Darian’s eyes. She had gotten a reaction from him, finally, she thought. Her face of fear distorted into one of confidence. The grey haired girl pulled the boy closer and whispered into his ear, “Darian, Darian, you’ve really underestimated me haven’t you?” Then pushed the boy back, a hand still on his collar. Her smirk contorted her face, making her almost unrecognisable.
“Wha-?” Darian got a shock from the sudden change in attitude in the girl.Miya started walking towards the back of the storeroom, pulling Darian by his collar, facing him the whole time. “I knew you were like me, I needed to find out, I needed someone else who understood how i feel. Do you know how much effort it takes to spend time with all those people I don’t actually care about so I could get a reaction from you?”
Darian wasn’t even putting up a fight, he had never met anyone like that before, this was new.. and very exciting. He decided to just watch what the girl had planned. Before he even realised it, Miya had turned in a way so that Darian would fall perfectly into it, her hands releasing at the perfect timing. Darian immediately found himself facing metal bars and turned around in the small metal cage, only to find Miya slamming it shut and locking it in front of him.
The boy crawled nearer towards Miya, “You can’t just keep me here” he whispered, almost smiling, ‘this is interesting’, he thought.“I can’t?” the smirk obvious even in her voice, she dangled the keys in front of her and then stood up, placing the keys just out of reach from the cage, on the piano. “I’ll see you at dinner time!” she waved goodbye to the boy and closed the door behind her.
"Your friends are too close with you… I don’t like it..”
For a moment he didn't talk at all but instead focused on finishing the playing. After it was all silent again, Darian continued talking: "... your friends are too close with you... I don't like it." He had now turned to face Miya, a crooked smile on his face.
Not having seen Darian like this before, the girl couldn't do anything against the reflex of standing up and taking a few steps back. The boy's current expression was creeping her out. "What do you mean?" Miya asked, trying to keep her voice from trembling. Had she done something to anger or upset Darian?
"I don't like it when they get too close to you," the boy answered, gritting his teeth a little. He looked back at piano, then the floor and then stood up. "I don't like seeing you happier with them than with me." The blond was now walking towards the frightened girl, his face currently showing no emotion. There was something truly threatening in him right now.
"Da-Darian no, you have gotten it all wrong! I don't favour anyone!" she tried to explain, hoping the boy would calm down upon hearing this was all misunderstanding.
"... but that is a problem too. You see, I don't think I can be on the same pedestal with others anymore," Darian whispered, cornering Miya and making her back against the wall. Despite knowing how to defend herself more than fine, suddenly Miya just couldn't find the power to stand up for herself. She was too paralyzed by fear and confusion over Darian's sudden change of behaviour.
Darian pinned her against the wall, leaning his face closer to hers. "I want you to favour me. It doesn't matter what kind of emotion you're showing, I want it to be the strongest when you're with me. I don't care even if it was fear that you're feeling.
Darian as a bunny maybe? Maybe finding a lost bunny and taking it home/taking care of it? etc o v o You can choose between Taiga or Ringo, which ever is more comfortable *flees*
// Decided to go with a little drabble due the message wording haha
Darian had always imagined Taiga as a scary person. After all, he was always looking kind of angry and even his name that sounded like a tiger made him appear as… quite ferocious.
But now, as he was gently petting Darian and even making an attempt of a smile, Darian couldn’t help but think he had gotten a wrong impression of him. While suddenly transforming into a bunny, then getting lost and eventually getting picked up by a teacher was very tiring and rather scary too, Darian felt like he had learned something new today as well.
He snuggled against the man, at first feeling a little unsure of his action - his human mind kept screaming that was simply weird - but then remember he was just a bunny now. Right now he was feeling secure. Taiga had saved him from the forest and he was more than thankful of that. With that, he closed his eyes and soon fell asleep. Tomorrow he would try to figure out how to change back.
Upon hearing this, Anna closed the book and stood up, making Darian think he had made a wrong move. "What do you want to hear?" she asked and smiled a little, revealing her tiny vampire teeth. Unlike the other girls in this house, Anna had very small teeth for a vampire. Darian wasn't even sure was Anna actually able to drink anyone's blood with such a small teeth. "Uh, I don't have any preferences. You can pick!" Darian then replied and smiled back at her, starting to believe he would actually get along with this silent, almost doll-like girl.
Anna put the book on the table and approached Darian. He already regretted everything he had thought about Anna. He had a really bad feeling. Darian backed up a little out of reflex. "Have you heard of summoning spells...?" Anna spoke and Darian shook his head. "Why would I have...?"
"Usually it requires a blood sacrifices. Virgin blood, to be exact. Many have pigeons and such they use for those. However..." the small vampire took a short break from talking. At the same moment Darian tripped on the ground, cursing in his mind how he had just been backing up from Anna's approach. He had not noticed the stuff lying on the ground. "Ne-nevermind, I actually don't really want to hear. I'm terribly sorry!" he tried to over-talk the girl, although he knew it was too late now.
"... I wonder how well would human virgin's blood work..."
Anna laughed. "Just kidding. I have no interest in that." Darian sighed in relief, thanking all the higher powers above he was speared this time. However, right when he was about to get up, he felt a push on his chest, forcing his whole body to rest against the floor. "I'm only interest in virgin blood," the girl giggled and then sunk her teeth in Darian's neck.

Darian was sitting on the floor, leaning against the wall. He was suffering from a severe anemia but he tried his best to survive from it. After all, he really couldn't blame the one who caused it and most certainly didn't want him to feel guilty. The vampire hunter's own consciousness had started to return, judging from his terrified expression.
"Don't come any closer...!" Taiga growled when Darian tried to pat his back. A bit startled, the boy backed down a few steps. "Just... leave me alone. Please!" Taiga continued but Darian refused. He didn't even have a place to go anyway. "Hey, you know.... We don't necessarily need to drink human blood. Animals are also fine." The young vampire's voice was comforting; he was genuinely feeling sorry and wanted to help the man. "A-and you can still be a vampire hunter! As a vampire yourself you can now know our weaknesses, right? And because you're an adult your powers are really strong"
He fell silent for a moment. "Now you... Could even defeat Shuuji... But I think it's too much asked for now, isn't it?" Darian laughed nervously. He had messed up this one.
"Senpai, could you take them down for me? I can't reach that high..." Darian asked and uttered a small laughter. Hiroki walked deeper into the storage room and leaned to take some old books from the upper shelf. He had no idea why Darian had specifically asked him, especially for a task like this... Being locked in a storage room not too long ago was still on his mind and made him feel nervous, even though he knew he wasn't alone now. Darian was with him, he could definitely help somehow if something happened.
"Were these the books you wanted? Darian...?" Hiroki tried to ask but suddenly he noticed Darian was not right behind him anymore. He could sense it. Hiroki turned around and saw the blond boy standing on the other side of the door, almost like blocking the entrance. There was a cold look in the short boy's eyes and Hiroki couldn't help but become a little nervous. Darian sure was acting odd right now. "Oi, is something wrong?" he tried to ask but there was no answer. The younger student was just standing there, although now he was looking at Hiroki like he was something utterly disgusting. "Darian, what's the matter? Yo-you know, this is getting kind of creepy don't you think? Are you not feeling well?" the older boy asked, his voice shaking a bit but he tried to hide it as well as he just could.
After a short silence Darian finally spoke, his voice sounding much more mature than it usually did. It was cold and low, nothing like the boy's normal voice. "I know what you have been doing..." he started and nailed his eyes to his senpai's. "Even if it's senpai, I never forgive anyone who lays their hands on [him/her]..." Darian didn't show it on his expression, but he was very angry.
Hiroki had to think for a moment what Darian could be referring to. Then he realized he must have flirted with someone dear to Darian. Very dear... Hiroki gulped. Seeing Darian like this made him think he had made a really bad move now. "Listen Darian, I'm sorry... I-I won't do this again, okay? We can forget this and be friends again. I'm sorry, I mean it! Co-could you let me out of here now..." Despite the older boy's effort, the blond didn't move an inch. Instead he just kept observing his senpai in such a manner that it kind of reminded Hiroki of Shuuji. Hiroki could easily have forced Darian to move if he had used his physical power but right now he was too anxious to even move - exactly how Darian had planned. Hiroki was too nervous to resist him.
"No, Hiroki. I won't," Darian replied and with a smooth movement closed the door. Darian ddin't even have to lock it himself for the door's old, automatic lock did it for him. Terrified, Hiroki ran straight to the door and started banging it. "Silly senpai, it's no use," Darian chuckled. "The holidays are starting soon and nobody comes here anyway. And even if they did, the air in the storage room won't last long anyway. The more you shout and consume the air the faster your end comes," he explained with a smile. Hiroki fell silent at the very moment he heard that and leaned against the door, then sat down and shook his head. Darian was wrong. Darian wouldn't do something like this! And even if, someone would surely find him. Surely...
" Auf Wiedersehen, Hiroki" Darian whispered and calmly turned away from the door. When someone eventually found Hiroki, they would think it was an accident. He tried to get something from the room but the door shut itself and he was trapped.
The first night Anna was not sure was she just seeing her own or not. After all, recovering from a surgery like hers would mess up anyone's head for sure. On the top of that being alone in an old hospital room was very unsettling, especially now that it was winter and nights were dark. Only the moon and street lamps outside gave some light into the otherwise dark room. To Anna who was still recovering and therefore her sense of time and space was slightly off, the room gave a very eerie aura. Even so, she couldn't completely brush off the memories from the last night.
Anna had seen someone in her room.
That person had not been doing anything but staring at her from the other side of the room. Because it was so dark there Anna wasn't able to tell anything else but the fact the silent observer had been a human judging from the shape. Back then she had been too weak and scared to say or do anything and her sleeping pills had put her asleep almost instantly so Anna couldn't ask was the person there some of the staff or not. The next day her memories were really fuzzy and she - for her own mental well-being - had simply thought of all that as a hallucination caused by strong medicine she had took earlier.
The second night was different. On that day the girl had been feeling much better and less weak so she took only some painkillers before going to sleep. However, at some point she woke up because of a feeling of uneasiness. Anna couldn't say for sure, but it felt like the room's temperature had dropped down a bit. It was probably because of the frost outside. Still half-asleep, Anna glanced at the clock on her right. Much to her own dismay, Anna's eyes met something very else than the clock: there, almost like leaning against the wall on her right side was the same person from yesterday, just staring directly at the girl. Even if it was really close to Anna she was unable to see any features on the person aside from slightly glowing, hollow eyes. This, if anything, made something in her mind to tell her something was very wrong and off right now.
Anna couldn't move an inch; she just stared at the pitch black creature in terror. She wanted to scream or jump out of her bed but Anna was completely paralyzed, her eyes still staring at her silent observer - who seemed to be just fine with its position and view for it didn't move at all. When the girl was finally able to move she hid under her blankets as fast as possible, trying to fall asleep in order to forget what she had just seen - and what was probably still standing there.
Unable to instantly knock herself out to sleep, Anna spent a good time just hiding under her blanket for she was too afraid of coming out there: she would get a heart attack if the shadowy creature was now standing right next to her bed or something, its face with only hollow eyes right in front of Anna.

The next morning Anna woke up, still in one piece and surprised by the fact she had eventually fallen asleep at some point. Trying to block the last night out of her mind, the girl stood up from her bed. However, in the end the curiousity got the better of her and she walked to the place where she had seen the shadowy person the last night.
There, right where the creature had been standing was a slightly worn spot.
