I want these toys in real life
(suicide tw) on top of all the other headfuckery it did to him, i think kaiba very secretly deep down feels humiliated that he took over kaibacorp (proving his mastery of gozaburo’s lessons) and gozaburo’s response was to kill himself rather than give him a single scrap of validation or approval. and probably gozaburo knew that’s how he’d feel about it. like the crushing realization that it was actually impossible to “win” their twisted game - and because he is a child, he doesn’t see it as gozaburo being incapable of love to begin with, despite any and all of his own efforts, but as that he’s inherently unlovable no matter how good he is
What was it all for? What was the point of it?
It was for this lesson it seems, and so Seto holds onto that lesson. It was his prize. It was the validation Gozaburo gave to him as Seto sought validation. He had to take something from it.
She’s looming.
She’s watching. Always watching.
how i deal with my feelings
never talk about them
barely acknowledge them
hope they go away
i don’t, basically
that’s what i’m saying
i do not deal with my feelings

You request a tarot reading, except the reader is Seto Kaiba, and the cards are Dual Monster cards. He pulls three Blue Eyes White Dragons and senses that you are a third rate dualist with a fourth rate deck in the past, present and future.
You are kicked out of Kaiba Corp. HQ and billed 300,000,000 yen.
Oh no, babe. The 9-foot-tall Blue Eyes White Dragon rug STAYS ON the bed.
Sometimes I see people describe Mokuba as “wholesome and pure” and it’s very funny because it’s not wrong, he is a sweet kid with a lot of love in his heart, but also the few times we see Mokuba do something to actively move the plot along there is a lot of:
Cheating (manga)
Stealing (DK, Legendary Heroes, DSoD)
Sneaking, spying, eavesdropping (DK)
Lying to people’s faces, wearing disguises (DK, Legendary Heroes, VW flashback)
Breaking out of custody (DK, BC)
Breaking in to Yugi’s house (DSoD)
Kidnapping and interrogation (DSoD)
Mokuba is literally the designated party rogue. Good-natured duplicity is one of his primary character traits. Mokuba’s job is to do Kaiba’s dirty work because he’s cute and can’t be tried as an adult.
Technically you didn’t cancel Casual Friday. You just made every day a Casual Friday.
“I made every day a day of don’t you dare interrupt my Human Resources office managers in their many important duties to tell them that you can’t do your job because you can see your coworker’s Achilles’ tendon.”
i hate it when someone asks me what my favorite work of art is because i can't say "the one of the woman chilling on the rocks with a dragon lying in her lap and giving off powerful big dick energy" but how else am i supposed to describe it
this is the definition of living deliciously
This is Dragon Resting It's Head On The Lap of a Woman by Robert Leinweber
“What the hell is a casual Friday?”
“Who the hell instituted a dress code at KaibaCorp? It certainly wasn’t me. Don’t you think I’ve got anything more important to do than worry about whether you peons wear suits or not? Unless you’re meeting with a client or a vendor, wear whatever. I couldn’t care less as long as you do your jobs. Casual Friday is cancelled.”
It’s late, the manor is quiet, and Kaiba is reading an interesting cohort study about the effects of—
“Ah-CHOO!”
@lil-kissy
When speaking English, Kaiba’s accent is very old-school and posh, almost Transatlantic, and most definitely antiquated. Nobody questions how she picked it up, and nobody tries to stop her.
