Kalyn Runes (main)
Age unknown Appears in his 20s to30s. Kalyn is the crown prince of vampires but isn't one to show his status unless necessary. He's flirtatious with strangers, lovers, and even servants. He doesn't think through the consequences of his actions and it can lead to trouble at times. When in a relationship he's romantic, patient, protective, and very affectionate. Outside of relationships he can appear as cruel and cold, often keeping 'pets' to use for blood and sex. He tends to hunt for a meal in the woods, on the side of roads, or in night clubs. He gets what he wants one or another and doesn't often take no as an answer. If you call him out on his behaviors or flirt back with him the. He tends to get flustered. He's bisexual and a switch but more dominant than submissive but the right kind of person can make him be whiny and submissive. He's a bit of an alcoholic and despises his father, only referring to him as "the king."
Carissa Runes
Not much is known about Carissa. She's Kalyn's long lost sister from another women. She's a little younger than Kalyn as Sterling had fooled around in the absence of Adelphia. Kalyn is unaware of her existence, however Sterling holds deep regret in her being born to begin with. She's sharp witted and sassy, stubborn to the core and willing to fight for her beliefs.
Sterling Runes
Hundreds of years old and appears to be in his forties or fifties. Sterling is the king of vampires. He's a harsh man who takes what he wants without exception. He blames Kalyn for his mother's leaving and rarely acknowledges his son. Instead he takes any chance he gets to torture the boy in agonizing ways. He can appear as understanding and kind in the start but quickly delves into a place of cruelty disregarding the wellbeing of everyone. He's extremely dominant and straight.
Adelphia Runes
She appears to be around the age of thirty, proud of how young she looks despite actually being older than Sterling. She was once the queen of vampires but left due to reasons she kept close to her heart. Neither Kalyn nor Sterling know the truth behind her leaving and abandoning her throne. Shes very kind and understanding, patient, loving, affectionate, and motherly. She's a sweet personality unless you make her your enemy. Once you've turned her against you her actions can be even more ruthless than that of the king's. Not much is really known about her.
Ellis White
Ellis appears to be in his mid to late 20s. Hes a loyal servant to the nobles. Despite this however he is mostly loyal to Kalyn. when Kalyn was younger Ellis acted as a care provided, baby sitter of sorts, for the young prince. Over time the two became best friends, cuddle buddies, and sexual partners despite having no romantic interest in each other. Ellis is shy and gets flustered extremely easily. He's very submissive and pansexual. He loves to be dominated, degraded, and abused but only if proper aftercare is given.
Harlow Blythe
Harlow appears to be in her twenties and is one of the youngest vampires to reside in the nobles home. Kalyn only turned her to get her to be quiet as she was extremely persistent. She was on the streets in poverty and living as an orphan for most of her life, getting ill frequently and begging to become a vampire. She looks at vampires as being superior species amongst all others despite being raised human. She's quite rude and has an unhealthy romantic and sexual obsession with Kalyn despite it being unrequited lust. She is not above degrading, harming, and kidnapping others that get too close to the prince. She can be sadistic and doesn't have a good role model to set her straight. Her sexuality is unknown as she refuses to show interest in anyone but the prince
