Stephanie Brown: Tim? What’s wrong?

Tim Drake: Um. Nothing. It’s just that adults are boring, and I want to be able to hate them- but I just realized that I’m pretty much a small adult already. And that I have been for most of my life. And now we’re going to buy all this stupid, boring, adult stuff and the transformation into boring adults will be complete. And then we’ll both have to be boring adults together, and Christ that sounds awful.

[Stephanie kneels down to look him in the face]

Stephanie Brown: Hey, listen to me. Yes, we’re going to get a dish rack and shower curtains and a cutting board…

[Waves cutting board]

Stephanie Brown: But if you think for one second, that I’m not also gonna get that marshmallow shooter, so I can shoot you in the face with marshmallows while you’re asleep…

[Pokes Tim’s cheek with the marshmallow shooter]

Stephanie Brown:…than you are the dumbest man I know.

[Stephanie continues to poke Tim with the marshmallow shooter. Tim makes a valiant effort not to smile, then gives up, snickering.]

Tim Drake: You’re gonna make me cry.
