The times I've written about Phantom, I've described him as an eldritch abomination in a human disguise. But I've also read certain urban fantasy novels that described eastern dragons as extremely terrifying and borderline eldritch, even when they weren't being malicious about it.

Really, think about it; eastern dragons were traditionally seen as semi-divine, if not just full-on gods. Would the average human mind really be able to comprehend that on the first take?
