GAMMA.CON 2018 | August 4-5 2018 | EPIC, Canberra ACT

My last convention for the year! Just a few shots of my Artist Alley table and some commissions I drew (with bonus king penguin drawn for fun with cheap colour pencils). I really went outside my comfort zone with some of these commissions, but was super happy with all of them - especially the dachshund.

This weekend I’ll be at SMASH! 2018 at the ICC in Sydney. You can find me at table J01 in the Artist Market, near the guest signings area!

Apologies for not sharing much art on my Tumblr recently, I will endeavour to remember to post here more in the future (I still need to post photos from AICon 2018 here too, whoops)! In the meantime, you can see more of my art on the Dark Draws Facebook page or on my personal instagram (penguinscout), where I frequently share WIPs amongst photos of food and other things :P

AICon 2018 is this weekend! I will be there in the Artist and Fan Trader Alley, at table #17. For the first time, the artist alley at AICon is in the upstairs area with the regular traders moving downstairs. I’ll have several new cosupen debuting (including those pictured and more), as well as my brand new starter Pokemon zipper bags! As usual, I’ll also be available for onsite sketch or copic commissions.

Finally finished the inner/outer senshi set of ‘Cosupen’ (cosplay penguins), so here they are all together! Considering I started this series in October 2015 and have been getting requests for the last of the outer senshi ever since I added Uranus and Neptune mid-2016, its been long overdue.

MAICon 2017 is this Saturday! You’ll find me at table #18 in the Traders Hall. MAICon is my last con for the year, so I’m hoping to use this as an opportunity to clear out some of my older stock in preparation for ordering brand new items for 2018!

Photos from SMASH! 2017 last weekend! This was my first time at SMASH! but I thought it was a great convention. The Artist Alley was huge though, with 198 artist tables (some of which were divided between multiple artists) so competition was fierce! Very happy to have once again met a great number of Hyperdimension Neptunia fans and sold out of both my chibi mugs and Neptune prints.

This weekend I'll be in Sydney for SMASH! 2017 (Sydney Manga and Anime Show)! I'll be at table #94 in the Artist Alley, located on the ground floor of the JR Fleming Grandstand. See my recent photos from GAMMA.CON and AVCon for a preview of what kind of stock I’ll have on hand.

Photos from GAMMA.CON 2017 in Canberra! This was my first time at GAMMA.CON, and being at a convention in an arena was an interesting experience. I only had two commissions this time, but they were both fun requests that I enjoyed doing and gave me a chance to try new things. Looking forward to SMASH in Sydney next week, another convention that will be new to me!

This weekend I’ll be in Canberra for GAMMA.CON 2017! I’ll have all my usual products like coin purses, charms, stickers, prints and badges plus a restock of the ceramic mugs I debuted at AVCon.
