Ykonw, there’s one aspect of TFA Megop that I feel doesn't get the treatment it deserves

the age gap

Their age difference is as vast as the distance between the Sun and Neptune. I mean on one hand, you have OP—a young guy fresh out of college, probably in his 20s by human standards.

And on the other, you have Megs, his age might not be immediately obvious, but the guy is older than RATCHET, he really ought to have retired eons ago.

Personally I think we could get a lot of laughs out of this.

When i think about SG versions of optimus or orion, tfp op comes to be like a jinx or glados.

Most of nothing for the lore i gave him instead of just change roles. Optimus is really kind, comprehensive, emphatic. And then there is SG op being an amoral sadistic manipulative egolatric and charismatic little bastard.

And orion seems to be (at least in the show) like a very passive idealistic soft spoken and rebellious mech, so, SG orion is chaotical maniac rebellious still sadistic and with a really curious if not dark of twisted sense of humor.

I like to add them a little bit of AM personality too.

I like to imagine Orion living in the Cybertron equivalent of my country. It kind of comforts me.

I like seeing him lose power at home and have to bathe in cold water, watching him have to fill jugs of water because the power will be cut off for several hours or days.

Basically, seeing him live through the experiences of me and more of my people, and still manage to keep going the next day.

In the Raising Optimus AU Orion and Dee not realizing Optimus is this universe's version of Orion until he's at the Academy. Since in tfa bots are named at boot camp their son ends up calling them to tell them about his new best friends Sentinel and Elita and his new name. The entire time the two are silently freaking out cuz "Primus called me Optimus before he sent us here" and "Our kid is friends with Sentinel"

I actually do have an idea surrounding the naming conventions of the TFA verse and TFOs reaction to it.

When Orion went to the academy he found out the naming system and went “yeah I’m not doing that my name is stay Orion Pax.”

To the point where Kup did in fact try to give him the name Optimus but Orion refused it.

When Orion and D16 have Optimus Orion gives him his name and later on tells his son that if he truly wants to change it that it’s up to him and that he shouldn’t let anyone else decide something so personal for him.

When Optimus meets Kup he gives him his name and Kup responds with. “Hmph it suits you with that dumb little smile you always have just like that carrier of yours.”

As for meeting Sentinel…

“Sire Carrier I want to introduce you to my academy friends. They got me through some tough spots in training and I’m we have even talked about forming a trine together.”

Orion: “That’s wonderful sweet spark bring them in and introduce us already.”

D16: “A trine is a big commitment but if that’s what you want…”

Op: “alright here they are this is Elita.-“

Orion and D16 over com: Holy slag, this is it we are actually meeting this worlds Elita! …why is she yellow? Oh well the next bot could be a version of D16 or B-127 or maybe-

Op: “-and this is Sentinel.”

…

Sentinel *nervous*: uhh it’s really great meeting the creators of one of my beloved future trine members. *gives a strained smile.”

Orion: D…

D16: I’m calm…

Op: Sire, what’s wrong?

D16: That reminds me… what kind of trine are you planning to be platonic… romantic?

Orion: Don’t.

Sentinel *looking like he’s about to pass out*: W-well y-y-you see… umm… uhh

Elita *leans to optimus*: is this directed at me as well or just sentinel?
