Okay. No. This HAS to mean something. This is way too cryptic to be nothing. On its surface it just looks like Mark is poking fun and being a troll. But there are a few questions I have which really make me believe that this is a) legitimately some sort of clue or b) a red herring to something greater that’s yet to come.
The reasons I believe that this is really a thing:
The arrows. They’re not just pointing at nothing - they’re pointing at certain elements of the image, like a pathway to some sort of clue.
The photo isn’t Mark, and it wasn’t someone in the video. Who is it?
The entire video is following a recurring theme - and I don’t mean horror games.
So let’s look at the arrows. Here’s what we’ve got:
The D pointing to the figure
The R and the ? pointing to the figure (why is the R arrow squiggly?)
I don’t know what the person’s name is, but that might fill in the blanks if we can find out who it is. If not, then I still think that whoever this is is a clue to the puzzle.
Which brings me to my next question: who is the figure?

So it’s a woman, someone I absolutely do not recognise. I tried running the photo and cropped versions of it through face recognition websites but got no results. Perhaps this person is going to be a future character in Mark’s next big video project? Either way, this just gives more questions than answers.
As for the whole video, I am gonna need to talk about that in a whole new post because there is so much to unpack and I have so many theories on it. For now, I am just super stuck on whatever the fuck this thumbnail means.
