Dragonbrood: Ojutai
“When I battled Ojutai, I realized my learning had only begun.” - Shu Yun, the Silent Tempest
Ojutai’s brood, the one revered for their cunning, is the most bird-like of the five broods. Their wings have feathers and their slender and aerodynamic bodies makes turning in the air very easy.
They are trickster dragons with impressive and coloured crests on their head. The crests range from extremely long and singular to a myriad of smaller ones. These crests tend to have red patterns, just as the rest of their bodies.
The breath weapon of this brood is one of ice. When battling someone, these dragons will patiently wait until their opponent makes a mistake. Then they swoop in and punish their enemy relentlessy.
Ojutai and his brood are cold-loving creatures that lay claim to high peaks, so the Jeskai carve their strongholds into the mountainsides to guard against attack. Specially trained monks maintain enchanted dragon bells and sound a warning when enemies approach.(Planeswalker’s Guide to Fate Reforged)
