Lee Minho found himself at the bar more often than usually lately, the main reason being that him and you had broken up because you didnโt love him anymore but you had loved another. Today just so happened to be his lucky day because he got to see you and him come into the same bar. When he saw you walking in with Changbin and laughing at something he said, he had to resist running up to you and hugging you.
He turned to the bartender, downing the last of the alcohol in his glass and paid for what he had to drink that day before trying to leave quickly and avoid you, stumbling a bit due to being slightly drunk. Apparently he didnโt move fast enough because just before he made it to the door he heard a soft voice behind him, a voice he missed so much. โMinho?โ
โCome on Y/n smile for me!โ You tried to cover up his camera with your hand to prevent him from taking more pictures of you. โHavenโt you taken enough pictures of me already?โ He grinned at you before replying, saying that, โtoo many picture of my lovely Y/n isnโt a thing.โ
He quickly ran out of the door before he had to talk to you further, with you longingly looking after him, contemplating whether you should go after him or not. But before you could a voice called your name and Changbin came up to stand beside you, putting a hand on your shoulder. โWho was that?โ You glanced at him before looking out the door, โno one,โ you said shaking your head, โjust an old friend.โ
โMinho come on! I wanna ride the Ferris Wheel!โ โOkay Iโm coming.โ He quickly caught up with you and intertwined your hands before walking to the Ferris Wheel.
Minho didnโt stop running until he was away from the bar, away from you. He came to a stop beside his favorite park which just so happened to be the place he asked you to be his girlfriend.
The tears that were cascading down his face didnโt stop when he sat down on the grass or when he curled up like ball, hiding his face and rocking himself back and forth.
โY/n! Dance with me!โ โBut I donโt know how to dance.โ He just smiles before grabbing your hands. โYou know how to slow dance or just swaying back and forth, now come on... please?โ You brought your hands up and put them around his neck, while he had his hands around your waist and you just gently swayed to the soft background music.
He didnโt realize how loud his sobs had been in the deserted park until he heard a male voice which he recognized. โMinho? What wrong?โ He came up to the sobbing boy and put a hand on his shoulder, โgo away Chan. You canโt fix it, not this time,โ he managed to get out between the sobs that racked his body, โyou canโt fucking fix me.โ
โWhatโs up with you Y/n? Youโre avoiding me, you hardly talk to me, hell you barely even look at me!โ โItโs nothing.โ You whispered, finding the floor more interesting than the person in front of you at the moment. โWe both know itโs not nothing Y/n. Now for fucks sake can you tell me whatโs going on?!โ โI DONโT LOVE YOU ANYMORE!โ You shouted the first words that came to mind, not thinking of what they were. But itโs not like you could take them back, but oh how you wished you couldโve seeing the utter heartbroken and betrayed look his face now sported. But he wouldnโt listen when you wanted to explain the real reason.
Chan just gently grabbed Minho and pulled him into a hug, letting him cry his heart out. โThis is about Y/n isnโt it?โ When he didnโt get an answer he knew it was. It broke him to see his friend like this, but it hurt even more when he thought that you were the cause. You and Chan had this, what you had thought, was an unbreakable brother-sister relationship, in fact he was the reason you were introduced to Minho in the first place.
But after you and Minho broke up you distanced yourself from Chan as well.
Chan didnโt know why you guys broke up because you nor Minho told him, but he knew it was something serious for you to end your one and a half year relationship. Chan knew that Minho was hurting even worse than if it was any other relationship because the same week you broke up he was planning to propose to you.
โYouโre pretty you know that Y/n.โ You gave him a look saying you disagreed before shaking your head. โIโm not pre-โ he cupped both of your cheeks with his hands, effectively cutting you off. He then leaned in and kissed you on the forehead. When he pulled back he had the softest look in his eyes as he said, โyou are very pretty Y/n. Inside and out, donโt fight me on this just because you donโt see what I do.โ He leaned his forehead against yours before whispering, โI love you Y/n.โ
That was the last time he said that.
