I think part of the reason STAYs seem to be so passive regarding Woojin, is that we have no reason, no reason why, we can’t argue or fight for him to stay when we have no idea what we’re fighting against. With Wonho, the reasons were clear, they were unfair and unjust but we have something to fight, he doesn’t deserve to shoulder the burden! He doesn’t deserve to be so unfairly targeted, and his accusers are shady af. That is a cause. But Woojin? ‘’’personal reasons’’’ could mean anything, who do we fight, how do we fight for him when we have no idea how we got here?

Write it Out
The first time Seungmin tried to ask you out was the first time he realised that he had feelings for you. You weren’t what’s described as classically pretty but Seungmin loved the uniqueness about you. The slight discolouration adorning patches of your skin, the nail varnish that was a different colour every week but somehow always chipped and the clothes you wore that didn’t always match but you still looked more stunning than anyone else ever could. He approached you with a burst of confidence almost blind to everything around him, but once he’d realised that his feet were moving towards you he took in everyone around you. You were surrounded by your large group of friends and passersby were also looking at the group as they went. He couldn’t ask you now, everyone would laugh and joke and he would be so humiliated. So humiliated. So, he turned on his heels faster than he could say hi.
The second time you were in class. You weren’t surrounded this time which meant it would be tonnes easier. Even though Seungmin doubted you even knew he existed he was desperate to chance his feelings. He knew he could be rejected, in fact he was preparing for that so it wouldn’t be a surprise when it ultimately happened. Shuffling into the seat next you he gently spun stuttering a hi to you. You turned to see his adorable face, his eyes darted away from years faster than the speed of light. It made you smile. “Hi Seungmin!” you beamed at him. How did you know his name, HOW DID YOU KNOWS HIS NAME. His panic was evident on his now red face as he attempted to ask you the question but after realising no sound was coming out of his mouth he jumped up, banging both knees on his desk, and darting out the room
The third time he had the genius idea of writing what he wanted to say. If his mind went blank it would still be okay. So, the usual situation takes place. He wobbles over, sweaty palms with white knuckles gripping his cards with all his power. He says hi again and you reciprocate the greeting. After a long shaky breath he lifts the cards, ready to embarrass himself. Due to the shakiness of his hands he dropped a couple directly in front of you and hectically picked them up. So to help you gently take the cards out of seungmins hands and begin to read the words aloud to him. Thanks to him writing it down you know exactly what he wanted to say. So this way, he doesn’t have to stutter over the words like last time and panic himself out of asking you since u can do it for him. It’s easy to notice the pink tint to his cheeks as you begin to read the cards. He’s so embarrassed and just wants to crawl into a dark hole. He’s sure u want to read his stupid confession at him and laugh and he knows he deserves it. Suddenly, your silk like voice begins to confess to him. Reading the words but adding his name instead of your own and glancing occasionally away from the writing to smile at him. Seungmin has to pinch himself, he has to wake up, this cant be real. However, it is and after realising that he might’ve blacked out for a second he comes back down to earth as u near the end of his little speech.
“Will you be my girlfriend?” you question before realising your mistake. The two of you find this a little funnier than it probably is but hearing Seungmins embarrassed giggles made you laugh more. And when Seungmin heard u snort a little he laughed even harder. The infectious moment died down soon as you both wiped away tears. Gaining your composure you placed the cards on the table, stood up taking Seungmins soft hands in your own and asking again in a hushed tone. “Will you be my BOYfriend?”. Seungmin stuttered out the closest thing he could to a yes and you grinned at him. It was the most beautiful smile he’d ever seen from you and he was in awe when realising that he had caused it. You placed a feather light kiss upon his cheek and ruffled his hair as you giggled again sitting back down to resume your work. He stood staring into space for a couple seconds before realising what he was doing and politely excusing himself trying his best to fake confidence and stuttering that he would see you at the end of the day.
