i literally had a day at work straight out of the pitt where it starts off shitty and then somehow keeps getting WORSE

when our shift ended we went back TWICE to help our 60 yo alcoholic coworker wash cutlery and he was telling us that nobody in this job has lasted longer than two months mentally he also asked if we do drugs because he thinks everyone should try everything in life at least once he said the only things he hasn't done are have sex with a man and try heroin

then we finally got back to the apartment and suddenly the boss appears at the door and goes hi matilda i need you for a while to help clean at the bar

so i went. i was just washing dishes when suddenly a coach full of like 30 retirees arrived and every single one of them wanted drinks and beer. i'm not even a bartender but that was apparently my accelerated crash course in pouring beer and making drinks

i texted my friend to come help me and together we somehow survived this enormous crowd of complaining retirees they were all so fucking difficult to deal with constantly changing their minds and everything and they wanted us to make them fries even though the kitchen was already closed and for some reason the boss agreed to it so i had to go wake up the cook

i also had to go to the boss's apartment to get a speaker so we could play music for the retirees so we ended up leaving work 4 hours later than we were supposed to

i was looking for a job and then i found a job

my friend’s boyfriend is supposed to give me a ride tomorrow but im too shy to ask him to pick me up from my actual house because that would take him way out of his way so instead im taking a bus first with my heavy as fuck luggage to a spot where he can pick me up. also, he has this ongoing joke with his girlfriend that im just her hallucination, so i bet he'll go "lol so you're real" and im currently practicing how to casually reply well, maybe im just in your head too or something like that (any ideas///???)
