Realistically, I think Robert would want to take Chad's last name instead, to kill off the Robertson legacy and especially since Chad is so big on family. Robert being adopted into Chad's family is literally the perfect outcome.

But since we don't know Chad's last name but we know Robert's last name, I'm just going to go with that. So yes, he gives up his cool last name to be fucking Chad Robertson 💀 the things he'll do for love...
