The course of the war has been changed and the characters face a new dawn of terror and political chaos. All of them have a new chance to tell their stories. New friendships, new alliances, betrayal, love; anything can happen. It’s completely up to you.

They’ll have exclusive access to the characters page and they’ll be able to choose two skeletons each to be posted first. ON HIATUS

Due to personal reasons and lack of activity I’ve decided to put Darkness Call on an indefinite hiatus. If it ever comes back, it will be completely revamped. How active is this rp? Would you say it is a quick flowing one?

Hey! I never really know how to reply to that question because the best answer is depending on what you call a quick flowing rp! The dash is almost always moving, but not in an impossible to keep up pace. Many of our players also draft their replies and post them pretty much all at once, so it’s not uncommon to suddenly have a strong wave of them. 

It also must be taken into consideration that we barely have one sentence replies here, so it’s possible you have to wait for someone to reply a little bit longer than the average group (not too long, but it won’t be a constant back and forth with quick and short replies). 

I hope that has been helpful and has given you an idea of how the activity is here! And I hope to get an app from you soon!

Weekly Update! 

Hello everyone! I hope you’re having a wonderful night or day, depending on where you are! We’re finally back to normal after a week of daily acceptances and it’s time to announce the date of this week’s round! The applications will be reviewed this Friday, July 28th at 7:00 PM EST. As always, the submit box will be closing half an hour before the stipulated time and reservations for characters with apps already will be accepted until 4:00 PM. 

A little plot drop will be posted tomorrow night, and we still have a bunch of events coming soon. A little sneak peek? There will be a wedding, and a Halloween Ball, and the results of all our characters’ actions in this past month will be shown. 

I might be a bit biased, but trust me, you don’t want to miss out! There are a lot of major characters open and waiting for you to give them a voice. Check out the CHARACTERS PAGE and let me know if someone catches your eye, and if you’ve got any questions, comments, suggestions or anything you want to tell me (including Game of Thrones questions because OH MY GOD) feel free to stop by the owlery!

You seem to have really connected with Mary’s character and it showed. Your portrayal of her was amazing! I’ve seen a lot of Marys who are just this model of the plucky brave sassy girl but I feel you made her so much more. You made her soft and vulnerable, and she felt completely real to me. Amazing job! Your Face Claim change has been approved.

Do you always get a message when you are or aren't accepted?

I don’t usually message people unless there are some changes (face claim or otherwise) to make. The best way to find out whether you were accepted or not is check out the main page for acceptances posts and the APP COUNT!

Hey! I’m about to start today’s acceptances, but until next Monday acceptances always happen 24 hours before the app is sent; so if you send it now it will be reviewed tomorrow.

Hey! With an excellent application he could work for Caradoc Dearborn or Reginald Cattermole! As I always say when I get this question, always remember to connect with the character first and the Face Claim second.
