that aside everything’s looking good to me! i mean i’ll probably have to go back and brush up on stuff, because god have i forgotten a good chunk of everything, but i didn’t have any problems following along at least!

you know, i think castlevania’s been having an effect on me because when i read the words ‘isabelle dies’ my first thought was ‘oooooor we could not do that and simply keep her out of focus’.

i did! but i’ll probably have to give it a second read-over at some point. i don’t remember seeing anything that might confuse me, but we’ll see when i get around to round two.

Plum giving Rock advice from the sidelines while he’s fighting Quick Man, and something that Plum says helps Rock land a pretty hard blow on Quick/dodge one of his attacks so Quick just

(Alternatively: Plum throws something at Quick’s head in order to distract him from landing a really big blow on Rock and she gets the same response from him)

i have no idea how plum would manage to get all the way to quick himself, given the lASER TRAPS OF HECKING DOOM

but maybe before the real fight between rockie and quick goes down, the dumb speed son is antagonizing cinnamon roll son like in the comics? and plum is present for it? which is when she starts observing and analyizing and basically blabs all of his secrets to rock. and then quickers is like eXCUSE. 

...and probably tries to take her out tbh. but rockie uses him being distracted to get that hit in, and quick is like “THIS IS STUPID. YOU AND ME, LET’S FIGHT. ALONE.” and sends him off to his actual stage???

okay, but consider plum actually giving rockie little tips here and there based off what she’s recorded and observed, especially when he’s just starting out.

though it’d be heavily likely that she’d be built AFTER the MM1 Robot Masters, but I mean that she’d exist slightly prior to/or during the events of MM1 since I imagine that there’d be a gap of time between the MM1 Robot Masters’ creation and when everything goes to hell

i think plum could work being around that early, tbh! her purpose is to act as a reporter; she easily could have been created and activated shortly before the first line as a test run for the ai system they use. when everything seemed to be checking out, the first line was completed and supposed to be unveiled, but then albert happened.
