The Reason I Make These Wallpapers

So I'm a big fan of Plex (mostly. As of late it's been annoying me but that's a topic for another time) and one of the features I enjoy is being able to see artist photos or art on the artist page. However, many of the artists I listen to don't have images through fanart.tv (where Plex pulls its images), so I decided to start making some myself.

At first I was posting them only on theaudiodb.com only to realise neither Plex nor MusicBee pull from there, so I decided to just do it all manually. If you place an image in an artist or album folder and name it "background", it'll automatically apply it to said artist or album.

Maybe you'll use some of these yourself, maybe you won't. Either way, do check out the links posted with each wallpaper and support the artists.

This one took a bit to do, had to find the original source image from an issue of the Pokémon manga, scale the image to line up with their bandcamp banner, erase the background, and then try to make it look as one-to-one as possible.

Threw this one together to celebrate DEATH DEVOIR's debut on Dreamcorp. Records Inc. However, he seems to have updated his bandcamp page so this is a bit outdated now. Might need to make another one.

You know, Adobe is scummy as hell, but that content-aware fill feature in Photoshop was kinda great for making my silly wallpapers. Least Clip Studio Paint has my back.
