i am so so sorry for the delayed response!!! i havent really been on tumblr lately as you can tell, but i can try to get them uploaded! no promises on when tho because i have to find the files for them lmao but i’ll definitely try and get them uploaded for you! :-)

vega: i do, but i never wear it when i’m at home. i only wear it when i’m out. i just don’t want to give anyone a heart attack.

luna: this town seems pretty chill when it comes to aliens, i’m sure no one would mind.

vega: yeah, but i’d rather not take the chance.

luna: so how long have you lived here in oasis springs?

vega: only for a few years now. i was raised in del sol valley and moved here when i lost my dad.

luna: oh god, i’m so sorry. 

vega: it’s okay! it’s been a while, but afterwards i decided on a fresh start in a new city.

luna: yeah, i was just a little shocked cause i didn’t expect to meet an alien here. plus you’re not blue or anything.

vega: ha, not all aliens are blue.

luna: well i only know one alien and they are blue.

vega: i’m also wearing my disguise because i didn’t want to shock the whole neighborhood.

luna: well your disguise is very pretty.

vega: shit, i’m sorry for just springing this on you. usually i ease people into it, but you being an astronaut and all, i thought it wouldn’t be a big deal. is it weird? it’s weird isn’t it. i can leave if you want me to.

luna: wait. moved to this planet?

vega: yeah, i’m from sixam!

luna: okay. please don’t take this the wrong way, but are you a sim from sixam, or like an actual sixam? y’know, like-uh--

vega: like an alien?

luna: yes.

vega: surprise! you neighbor is an alien!

vega: well, i’m glad i’m talking to you too! your house is so nice. i love all the decorations you have.

luna: oh, thanks! most of them are just from my job.

vega: are you an astronaut!?

luna: yeah, i am!

vega: that’s so cool! i haven’t traveled through space since i was little. we moved to this planet when i was 10.

luna: so, uh, vega was it? that’s an awesome name! we both have space related names! that’s pretty cool, right? 

vega: yea--

luna: my grandma, i never met her because she died before i was born, but she was named after a constellation. i think that’s why my mom gave me a space name. to kind of honor her, y’know? 

luna: i’m sorry. i talk a lot when i get nervous.

vega: ha, don’t apologize for that! and why are you nervous?

luna: i don’t do well in crowds, and all these people are in my house. but it’s okay. i do better one-on-one, so i’m glad i have you to talk to.

The welcome wagon arrived, and Sterling and Luna were so happy to have Yondu there! At least they knew one of their neighbors already, but soon Luna spotted one of her neighbors that caught her eye.

Sterling was excited to see the house had a basketball hoop, and now it’s her favorite thing to do!
