🌺🍑TrAnSfOrMaTiOn TuEsDay🍑🌺 hooray, i remembered to take a #beforepic! so melanie had been coloring her hair black for probably a couple of years. knowing she wanted a color change in the future, she stopped coloring her hair a few months ago, letting it fade a bit, then we tested a strand of hair to see how much it would lighten 🤓🔍✨ she has a goal of going pastel pink in the future but she showed me photos of pinky-coppers that she liked too. knowing that ending up a little copper was inevitable during the transition anyway, i planned to take her to a pink-copper melt, leaving her natural color at her base (as i like to do 😏) which much more forgiving as the color grows out & easy to work with for future colorings. the color was a success! 🌺🍑🙀 as upkeep she will be using @celebluxury's #viralshampoo in pink to keep her color vibrant, then we will lighten again in a couple of months & start moving toward our pastel goals. what's important to note is that since we are staying in the warm color family, it will be much easier for us to reach our color goals than if we were trying for a cool color such as silver, lavender or teal. ⌛️🎨 shoutout to @pravana #blondewand for making the lightening process easier on me, @olaplex for keeping my clients' hair soft & healthy & @ruskhaircare #deepshinedemi & #deepshinedirect for vibrant, even & long lasting results. 🙌🏼 & of course, thank you @melanietrz for letting me play with your color! 😻🎨 . . . #darlingcoif . . . . . . #transformationtuesday #transformation #haircolor #pinkhair #peachhair #hairstylistlife #beforeandafter #hairmakeover #makingchanges #colormelt #chicago #chicagohairstylist #logansquare #logansquarehair #cute #kawaii #velentinesday #valentinesdayhair #💝 #🌺 #🍑 (at darlingcoif)
