I failed to notice that I priced them based on what UN-GENED gaoler hatchlings go for, not fully gened ones.

Only made about 1/10th of what I coulda gotten for them. OOPS.

fae headcanon: Wind fae have really exceptional lungs

(they need to be able to project to be heard/noticed by bigger breeds, after all)

those who’ve figured out magical amplification can compound these two things to emit an absolutely ear-splitting screech that can temporarily deafen and disorient enemies with especially sensitive ears

this makes their guerilla tactics devastatingly effective, especially when used with Wind dragons’ flying aptitude and familiarity with the steep, twisting cliffs and crowded bamboo forests of the Windswept Plateau
